Hotchkiss Front and rear sway bars
I thought that may have been the reason. Also, forgot to mention the rear bar has two sets of mounting holes. I mounted mine on the outside set of holes. Can make it stiffer if you use the inside holes.- Tk59194

Installation is complete, here are my thoughts: Packaging: the kit came nicely packed in a large box. Each bar was in plastic bag and all parts and hardware came in nicely labeled bags. Plenty of foam cushion in the box to prevent scratches. Nice instructions and a cool Hotchkis sticker...- Tk59194

Hello, I just ordered the Hotchkiss front and rear swaybar kit. The installation instructions do not have the torque specs for the bushing brackets or the end links. Does anyone know what the stock torque specs are for these? Thanks!- Tk59194

Factory skid plates installed on 2015 Tahoe LT (GM # 23176881)
My opinion, while I don't specifically remember what the thickness was when I installed mine, I can say that it is extremely stout. It is a quality piece and extremely rigid for what it is. Helps that it installs in two pieces too. Unless you are trying to rock crawl the vehicle, I suspect it... -
Paint Quality
Yup, mine too. Extremely thin water based paint. The paint scratches/chips if you look at it wrong. No remedy/fix for it. Blame the EPA and environmentalists for this. I'm sure at some point car companies will develop more durable water based paint, but for now we are stuck with it, I'm afraid. -
Borla VS Magnaflow Catback - Longevity
409 stainless contains a higher percentage of iron and will develop more surface rust than 304 over time, especially after being exposed to heat. 409 only contains about 10% chromium while 304 stainless steel contains up to 20% chromium and has a much lower concentration of iron.
