Moving from Hawaii to Connecticut in May. Will be loading up in Las Angeles and heading out along Southern states using I-20 for most of the trip. We have 2 cars, so will be driving the Tahoe and towing my 2012 Challenger R/T on a U-Haul trailer. Wife and I have done the 2 cars across country...
I need to get access to the rear power port and the cigarette lighter. But cannot figure out how to do so.
Anyone have a blueprint or guide for this?
Thx
does anyone have pics of the sensors on the frame with the cover removed?
can you rotate the sensors, re-position to another spot so they'll still buzz your rear when activated, but don't cause rough lumps?
I've got the cloth seats and they're horrible.
6'3" at 295lbs
when originally bought, the seats were decently comfy. last few months not so much. but it's not always bad...makes me wonder if something is moving around
now that some of y'all have had the bigger tires installed for a little bit
how does the transmission hold O/D on the highway? I'm currently pulling down a solid 23-25 mpg at 65 mph...I understand that you lose some MPG's with the bigger rubber. been there done that, it's just one of those...
I'm still convinced the buffetting is mainly induced by the exhaust. The harmonics only occur in V-4 mode
I have hellacious drone in my Challenger at certain RPM's. It makes body panels and interior pieces rattle badly at times. I've experienced similar with other cars after installing a CAI...
Nada
Chevy refuses to acknowledge my car is doing it. They also can't duplicate my interior lights doing the flashing thing every time you hit brakes or left turn.
Trying to escalate the issue but Chevy keeps stonewalling me and referring to the Dealership...who of course cannot duplicate
Cash for Clunkers screwed over the used car situation
I'm looking to get a 2nd Tahoe and the used prices are outrageous. 2013 models are still selling in the $30,000's. I looked at a 2013 LT yesterday for $33k
Buy new if budget can support. You get the new rig, typically a better APR, and will...
I didn't mention the noise or the exhaust valve squeak to my wife because I thought I was hearing things at first. but then one day she asked me what the annoying squeak was whenever we accelerated
and she finally complained last month about the car "shaking" and "vibrating" around town. Our...
sorry man. Mine went from perfect and no noise...well it isn't horrible yet, but it's been getting worse. the rate of progression is subtle. I mainly notice it when I haven't been in the Tahoe for a few days (it's my wifes car). Then it's extremely obvious how much the noise/vibration is...
to be honest, I wouldn't buy another one. We really like our Tahoe, but GM is starting to piss me off with their supposed customer service. There is a laundry list of complaints with the 2015's that haven't been addressed.
1. Interior Lights Flashing
2. V-4 mode causes excessive...
I ended up bolting the rims to my Tahoe. they do fit, backspacing was perfect IMO. Only problem is that the guy mis-represented the rims in his ad. They had a ton of pitting, so had to pass
it is not a tire issue. That is extremely easy to rule out by either changing speed or manually shifting so it forces a shift back into V-8 mode.
mine only does it when in V-4 mode...it's godawful annoying
The factory 265/65R18 tires are 31.5" tall.
I am looking at upsizing to 275/70R18, which is 33.1" tall. There looks to be a ton of room under there. Can I upsize without installing a leveling kit?
A 1.5" leveling kit is in shipment to me, but the tire shop has a killer deal right now that I...
