2015 Tahoe Intellilink screen black out

ours has done it a few times. about 1 time a week. Of course it never duplicates when at the Dealership. so we call each time and ask that it be logged in the record for the vehicle. I'm hoping that if the radio eventually goes on the fritz, that this will be a history of issues that can be...

GM just called me. They just gave me $1,000 for my troubles!

I didn't get diddly from them. My Dealership tried to rip me off for $1,300 in parts. Every single 2015 Tahoe on the lot had a bunch of "Dealer Add-Ons" that the Invoice was charged for, but the actual vehicle itself didn't have. It took me 2 days to discover the items. Took 2 months to...

Loose "shift" feeling in LF seat when turning

I'm going to do the hose clamp fix. I don't trust my Dealership to do anything, and after reading their Yelp and BBB reviews, that's warranted. How does crap like this get released on any vehicle. Be it $15k new or $50k like mine was. It's not like Chevy hasn't been making vehicles for 100yrs....oh

Yet another problem: Oil Leak 2015 YD

Please tell me you figured this out! My only complaint about our 2015. Stupid seat shifts a bit in corners and when starting from a stop

    2015 V8 acceleration slow?

These are a tiny bit slower than the outgoing generation My 05 Esky with 6.0 would walk my 15 easily But the more gears and way way way better mpgs make up for it easily. The difference is all really in your head with the electric throttle Btw, telling someone to tune the "problem" away is...

    OFFICIAL: 2015.5 (2015i) Discussion Thread

I see this is one of "those" forums. A bunch of deleted posts and somehow I got resubscribed to this crap with the preferential editing by the Mods. Typically threads just get locked down if they get out of hand. There is a very Orwellian Atmosphere at the moment. I didn't realize Moterworks...

9,865 miles 4Wd services just come up

How does the system engage 4wd on demand? Is it doing via the t-case or the hubs? If via the t-case, then you guys realize the entire front drivetrain is rotating at vehicle speeds 100% of the time right. So you're "dragging" that rotational mass around all the time. Hence lower mpg and...

2015 Yukon HID Conversion from The Retrofit Source

9,865 miles 4Wd services just come up

I driven plenty gooder in snow in times of past gone I completely agree this issue resolved needs be I don't agree that you should deliberately continue to operate Auto 4wd when it will break knows you. Me driven have plenty times from Seattle to Austin and back in Dead of Winter through...

    OFFICIAL: 2015.5 (2015i) Discussion Thread

I'm excited about the new changes. It's always neat to see what is coming and what is trending however I get tired of you in particular. You have nothing good to say about the 2015 models...well unless you are backtracking to make sure we all "understand" you aren't bashing the 2015's...

9,865 miles 4Wd services just come up

I'm confused by this thread You know your T-case has a programming issue. And yet...you continue to use Auto 4WD. Why? It eats more gas It causes more wear and tear It has a known problem that GM is trying to fix Mind boggling to me. My wife and I survived for many moons without...

4x2 vs 4x4 ride heights and leveling kits

do the tires rub? I love the look of that. Not sure how I feel about rubbing though. I have a problem with that on my Excursion. My wife would kill me if her ride rubbed the tires at full lock.

Request for Parts Help - Fog Lights

My only complaint about my 2015 Tahoe LS is that it doesn't have foglights. I was hoping someone on here has a Tech Manual that shows the parts numbers and a good place to order the housings. I'm likely to wire them using a relay so they're on anytime the heads are one, but I'm not adverse...

thang god I'm not the only one who is tired of the constant 2015 bashing by this guy. didn't he take a $3,000 loss to sell his brand new 2015? just to get a few gadjits and gizmo's on the 2015i that will be replaced by the 2016 models in <6 months :hmmm2: 2015 models are still going for...

Hennsessey Super Charged Yukon Denali 3 pkgs

That is awesome I put a Roushcharger on my 2006 F-150 SuperCrew. That sucker was on 35's and would smoke the tires on command. I surprised many a Camaro/Mustang with it GM motors are much quicker revving than most Ford motors, I can just imagine how much fun my Tahoe would be :)

Retrofit of higher trim radio into a LS?

If it isn't meant to be, then oh well I'm willing to pay around $1k for this. But it definitely isn't worth trading in on. I just miss the sound system my Escalade had. If I can't figure this out, I'll just install a Pioneer HU and get a decent speaker setup. I will say I'm pretty happy with...

4x2 vs 4x4 ride heights and leveling kits

Is there any difference between the 2? My Tahoe is a 4x2, but I would like to upsize the tires to a 285 when it's time. I did some comparing on the lot and they all looked the same height to me, but I've been fooled before. Also, what is the "Best" leveling kit out there? I've seen a few...

Retrofit of higher trim radio into a LS?

I really want the larger touchscreen radio that the optioned LT's and all LTZ and higher trims have. 8" screen I believe. It also does that nifty trick of raising and has the little cubby behind it that will hold a pistol or other such sized device. Can I retro-fit this into my LS...
