I just put mine into an old case I have laying around from my 2012 Ford Flex. I figure if Chevy isn't willing to give me a $10 case, I'll rock the competitions case instead. :)
I want a case so the manuals are somewhat protected from all the crap my wife throws in the glovebox...and so that my...
guess I'm getting old...but that thing just looks bad...bad as in "Not Good"!
the new truck and SUV bodies do not lend themselves to large tires in the fender wells...so now you have to do massive stupid lifts to get 35" or bigger tires on the rig...or you carve up the fenders.
is stretching...
does the throttle lag get any better?
that is my only complaint about the 2015 Tahoe I bought last night. the throttle is very...stiff/laggy
the 355 HP doesn't feel as "peppy" as the 2005 Esky I traded with 345 HP...but then again she is brand new
get the 6.0 out of a Esky. My Esky is bone stock and she runs like a raped ape. Rated to 345 HP or so...I personally think there is more under there than that though. It really scoots when you mash the pedal. Makes me wish my V-10 acted similarly.
Once I make it my Daily Driver, I plan on a...
got the BT and HD units installed. You sent me an extra communications wire...but no microphone.
no worries though, got one ordered. thanks for the stuff. they work great
took out the old Pioneer 4200dvd and replaced it with a Pioneer 5600BHS
was happy to find out that they have the same wiring harness...so I only had to unplug the old and plug in the new. awesome!
now I have HD radio and Bluetooth...and the Pandora setup is nifty with my iPhone 5
the thread linked above talks about 99-02 trucks every now and then. something about grounding a yellow wire. read through the pages and you'll see it come up a few times
thx for the specific link to an actual picture. I've tried reading that thread before and couldn't make heads or tails of all the talk. Figures that I need to visit the very last page to see an actual decent picture of what I needed.
thx. now to find a 3a 50v diode
I currently have a Pioneer 4300dvd installed with Axxess components to retain the steering wheel controls and chimes, and have a wireless backup camera.
I just bought a Pioneer AVH-x5600BHS to replace it so I can get BT and HD radio. I plan on re-using the Axxess stuff.
Question: Can I use...
1. Can you adjust them? Turned the heads off last night with fogs on only. 1 fog was pointing to the sky, 1 was pointing off to the right somewhere.
2. Can you mod them so they'll come on automatically when the heads come on? I hate having to hit that stupid pushbutton at night. They...
footprint at 44psi has the outer edges raised...center only pattern
scrub pattern at 38psi is much much better. so is the ride. still a tiny bit of outer edges not touching
I'll try 35/36psi tomorrow and see
So when I bought the Caddy it had the tires at I think 26 psi. P265/70/17 Goodyear Wranglers. Max load is 44 psi. So I put them at 44 psi to test things out until I had time to sort out the tire pressures.
Door jamb says this:
At 26psi, the ride was spongy and sidewall flex was scary...
thanks for that photo. I have been unable to figure out how hte damn retainers go into the body. how are those retainer nuts held in? Prior owner removed the roof rack and all the retainers and left me with just holes. I bought new retainers...just can't figure out how they stay inside the roof
I don't know. A lifted 'Burb I think would look pretty badazz with a set of these. We had a guy down the street who swapped a 2002 diesel and Allison trans from a wrecked dually into his 2001 'Burb. That thing was a beast and clearance lights would have nicely complemented it
2005 Escalade
I used the sticky to get the part numbers and order the stuff. Don't have pics just yet. I'll snap some in a few hours when I get home from work
wierd question...but can someone post pictures of these for me?
I need to see how part #7, 8, and 9 all mount to the roof. the PO of my Esky took it off and just left me with holes. I have part #7 and 9 in hand...but can't figure out how they mount to the roof and will seal the stupid holes
thx
