I am familiar with the free travel mod, however I would like to see how the truck rides with only cutting the bump stop in half before i cut the whole thing off. Right now the front rides like stock with the drop spindles. the rear...not so much due to the little bit of travel. I also have the...
did you completely cut your bump stops off or take a little bit off? My 06 denali only has about 1/4 inch of travel in the rear so i might cut about 3/4 of an inch off and see how that works out. If need be Ill cut more off
Tony's 2-3/4 Installed 06 Denali (Pics inside)
Whats up guys, over the weekend I installed tony 2-3/4 belltech kit in my 06 Denali. I started the install saturday night and would have finished saturday night if i didnt cut too much of the balljoint off the first side i started. Stupid me cut...
sounds good, should i keep an eye out for ups or fedex? If i decide to go lower down the road what are my options for the 2-3/4 kit i just purchased? Can i add keys in the front to get another 1 inch and swap the 5+ inch TB springs out.

that 3rd light is soo dope! and the esky vents look incredible too.
Ive been debating on doing the 3rd light on my 06 denali but am not sure how the vents would look. The rounded side moldings of the denali's are different then the more "squared" that the esky's and hoe's have. Do you have...
bump for the same set of wheels ive got on my denali!
Mine are going on 3 years old (chrome) and starting to pit. I think one or 2 more years outta them and they will need to get powdercoated a gloss black/ black chrome or just rechromed.
shes not lowered yet but heres a few pictures of my truck and race car. Im anxiously awaiting my drop (2-3/4) to show up, should be any day now. I really wish i woulda bought a lower drop but we will see how the 2/4 looks. I think i can add keys in the front to go another inch lower and swap out...
iwaslowr- I love your white truck and drop. and the grey one with the 26's and those brakes too!
I feel that the 07+'s can pull off bigger wheels and look just as good. not sure how proven that statement is as far as overall tire height and what notbetween 00-06 vs 07+
Like a 26 on the...
I would agree with you saying a 35 series is considered a rubberband, but its alot better then a 30 IMO.
And yes, "offroad" meant just going off paved surfaces. I had to pull my buddies f150 outta a mudhole one night that required me to do some light trail riding to access his truck in the...
hopefully my 2-3/4 kit comes out looking alot lower then this. It looks good for a little drop.
what did the ground force kit include? keys, spindles or what?
I was debating the same thing before I bought 4's for my denali. The biggest things i factored in was towing (yes i tow alot) and the truck stops good with 24's. 26's i would imagine would stop worse. Sidewall (305/35/24) I still have the ability to hop curbs and dont feel bad when I need to...
congrats on the 2nd child tony! any word on those rear kits that are still in production? the 3/4's for 00-06's with autoride. Im getting eager to throw my summer wheels back on but want to drop and align the truck first cause I know i wont find an allignment rack that will work with my 24's lol...
I am in the same boat as you, I want to do an exhaust on my 06 denali this year and set it up for H/C/I next spring. will the 1 7/8's be an issue if the car doesnt get a blower right away? I would hate to waste money like that and change the headers twice if i might only loose a little...
Max I love your truck, soo clean, simple and looks soo good! My truck gets dropped with tony's 2-3/4 bell tech kit in the next few weeks. I was really thinking about just a dynomax vt and now that you mention it maybe i should do headers while I am at it :). This year the goal is to mod the...
ive heard the magnaflow and think its a little too quiet for my liking. I dont wanna spend $550 on a catback that isnt going to be much different then stock. Is fitment on the 00-06 6.0 denali/escalde the same?..
will the 5.3l y-pipe bolt right up or is that something that needs to be welded? Im in the same boat as the OP. I really want a corsa but refuse to spend that much on my truck for a catback...i have both a bike and car i would rather dump that money into
by the picture shown on mbrp's website...
I wanna go the corsa route but just cant justify $800 for a catback for my truck lol, ive got a car that sucks money out of my pocked left and right and am trying to buy another motorcycle. So I think ill be going the muffler route, I just want something a little louder. Lmk when you end up...
i read a thread about 07+ calipers and rotors bolting right up, and iirc the pricing wasnt too over the top either for oem chevy stuff. This will probably happen the next time my 06 denali needs pads and rotors as i do a decent amount of towing, and the truck sits on 24's in the summer so the...
How do you manually inflate the helper bags in the rear? ive towed my car (with trailer probably 5k lbs) and the helper bags inflated and deflated upon hooking up, loading and unloading the trailer.
-Gary
Nice, I work in parts at a dodge dealership but in the same complex our chevy dealership is right next door. Im gonna head over there at lunch time and get a price/availibilty
hmm, this looks excellent on your black truck but am curious to see how it would look on my white 06 denali. is this an oem chevy part?..and what does it cost
ive had the nankangs for 2 years now with no issues, mine are a 305/35/24 so the ride quality isnt exactly perfect but ive never riden in a rimmed out vehicle that had a great ride.
