haha i know it is overkill but rather have room for upgrades in the future. I think my safe bet is a 200 amp fuse. Here is the selniod i got by the way got really good reviews.
NVX BIR500 500 Amp Relay Isolator
I went overkill and got the 500 amp soleniod rating just in case I upgrade my alternator or do anything demanding. I was going to do a 250 amp fuse but leaning to a 200 amp to be safe.
The fuse is for the zero guage wire going from the main battery to the senliod and from senliod to aux battery. It's not for any factory wiring. I have seen people put 80 amp fuses all the way up to 300. That's why I was confused on which to use. The amp wires and all accessories will be...
Hey so I am in the process of installing a second battery for my car. I am trying to figure out what kind of second battery to get. I was thinking of going lead acid deep cycle battery since its a whole a lot cheaper and the battery will be in the engine compartment rather then getting a amg...
I have a bunch of stuff hooked up to it and just wanted a second battery to be able to run things off it with out killing the main battery while the car is off. Also will probably add a HO alternator eventually.
Hey everyone I am in the process of adding a second battery to my systema nd trying to figure out what guage wire to go with. I did the big three with 0 guage wire. Is 0 guage overkill for a dual battery setup and 4 guage will do or should i not cheap out and do the 0 guage wire. Any idea...

I was looking into getting those shocks. The lift keys I am hestitant cause I read that they put a greater strain on your suspension and ruin ride quality.
I plastic is pretty solid I have my front grill and both front rear chrome bumpers painted as well as my rims. The other nice feature with plastic dip is if you scuff it or rub against something that takes a chunk out you can just respray that spot since it it slef leveling paint. My friend...

Hey Everyone I have a 2001 tahoe ls. I want to beef up the suspension a bit but not do a crazy lift. In the end my goal is to get 1 to 2 extra ground clearance and do upgrades that will allow my truck to handle rough turrain. What I looking to eventually do is go with 18 in rims and bigger...
Hey,
I was thinking of upgrading the 8 in sub in the 2001 tahoe rear stock sub box. I would like to get a shallow 10 inch in there if its possible. Has anyone done that before or is it not possible and just go with a 8 in. I do not want to build a box in order to fit a 10 in sub prefer to...

Yea i have to def put some planning into it. I am leaning twoards ten but open to eights for weight issues. I have seen a pick of some one doing it. As for getting the speaker wire into the door is not a problem i would have to drill a whole to run the wires and get something similair to this...
Sorry to question you YukonXL04 lol. I saw some pics of the panel taken off and indeed you are right. Which awesome cause i was planning on putting 2 shallow 10 in subs in the door so all i have to do is recreate the bottom half and not have to cut into the panels. Thanks agaion guys

Hey Everyone,
I searched for a while and can not find anything talking about how to remove the inner pannle of a 2001 tahoe barn door. I dont see any screws which makes me think that it just simply pops out but i am nervous to break it since it would be pretty tuff to find a replacement.
Hey Everyone,
I have a 2001 tahoe LS that only blows cold air from the rear. I could of swore it used to blow heat. On my rear controls all i have control of how how hard the fans blow or give my passengers in the rear control. On the unit is says ac controls. I had my mechanic look at it...
Is a C rated tire good enough for a tahoe or would the side walls be to week. I have third row seating in my car and there are times when i have 7 people in the car and have the truck loaded with ski gear. So I just want to make sure it can handle the weight. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hey,
Looking to get news tires for the tahoe, and I narrowed it down to good year duratrack and cooper st max. The overall load index for my car is 6800lb and duratrack is 2470 and cooper st are 3086. I was looking to go with the duratrack because it is a lighter tire. Which will not totally...
They also make wiring kits that create a powered pre amp like this one if you don't want to splice into wires. The preamp will also give you better sound since it boost the signal stregth.
