So I am in the process of doing the cluster and the 4x4 switch , and hvac cluster. Is there away to blackout the existing led that work on the HVAC and 4x4 bulb. I don't want to de-solder them just in case i want to undo the led strip upgrade. Any Suggestions? -

2003 to 2006 you have to soldier them. 99-02 are simple twist and pull -

You also might want to check the connectors in the pic below try cleaning the brass connectors with rubbing alcohol. That was my issue. -

Not sure what you mean. Are you asking if you can use that motor to be able to just lock and unlock? I am sure you can but the way the door system is setup might be a pain to do. Probably would have to take out the old system and rig up something your self- ladorn45

The chrome actually looks better then I thought. If you cut the strip straight or do not go all the way and stop it maybe like a half inch or in before meeting i think it would look good. -

This is what he told me about our clusters I posted it earlier in this thread The motors in the 00-02 clusters don't have a stop position like the 03+ clusters do. The 00-02 needles can spin freely in a complete circle if you remove that little pin that stops the needle at the end of the gauge... -

What is the proper Trans temp
Hey Everyone, I installed a gauge that has a trans temp. I been reading that the temp should range from 170 to 200. I drove my Tahoe around for awhile in 45 degree weather and the temp did not go past 150 basically stayed at that spot and never went over is that normal. Just want to make sure... -

Ebay is probably your best bet (posted link below to part), and from the videos i saw it looks like the motor just simply comes out with a twist and turn like the bulbs. I bought a used cluster for the trans temp and noticed my oil moter sticks to and was gonna swap it out with my current... -

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?
Ended up taking the door check out and replacing the rivet with a bolt to stop the clanking noise. Seems to be getting the job done.- ladorn45

Here is what you are looking for. Just pull the cluster out in the back there is a black plastic cover remove that. Then you will see grey tabs those twist and pull out the bulb put new one in and your done -

Need to remove inside door panel on rear cargo doors 2000 Tahoe LS
If you look at the very bottle of the door there is another cable if that cable has any slack on it it will stop the locks from unlocking. Sorry dont have a pic of it. -

Correcting New Cluster gauge with higher mileage to correct mileage .
