Help! how best to use Load Distributing Hitch with Auto Leveling

This has probably been discussed, but I couldn't find it. I recently replaced worn shocks and compressor and now the auto leveling works as planned- except the rear is a bit high. Okay not a big deal normally but I'm about to tow a largish trailer and am adding a LDH. The hitch manufacturer...

2009 Tahoe AC blinks three times and will not come on

Just went thru all this. If you have a rear/passenger HVAC unit, the lines corrode thru. I was able to charge it enough with the UV refrigerant and find that both pressure and return lines had holes. Bought the line blockers, works fine.

Rear A/C 2005 Yukon Denali XL

I found both rear AC lines had corrosion holes. Ended up using Blackhorse Racing AC line blockers. Less that $20. Did the trick; easy peasy

    Power fold tow mirrors?

I need tow mirrors on my 2011 Denali; looking at Boost Auto and Trail Ridge. But I'm wondering if there was a factory option on other GM vehicles/ pickups that would fit that I can hopefully get from a wrecker. Mine does have the DL3 option. The wife gets the larger garage bay, cuz well, I...

2011 Yukon DIC display is dim

Yep, the dimmer knob works- in night time mode. Does nothing in daylight mode except turn on dome light at full clockwise. Should it be working on daylight mode?

2011 Yukon DIC display is dim

The light sensor is working; it changes to very dim and DRL become headlights when light is low. In normal daytime driving, the DIC (under the tach) display is just dim; can't read it with sunglasses on. If it means a whole new dash, I'll just live with it. Any thoughts?

    Drivers side motor mount replacement.

Just did the drivers side on my Denali. Was easier than I expected but I had plenty of time. I removed the steering shaft. With it jacked up and the splash plate removed, you can almost sit up in the space between engine and radiator, lol. Bolts are hard to get to, had to go buy more swivel...

Best Place To Jack Up Engine

I just did the drivers side and used the oil pan with a board to spread the load. With that nice flat area and the nearby stiffening ribs, its hard to believe its not expected. Though I get that its not recommended. Certainly did it a plenty back in the day with those stamped steel pans...

    Nubie in Chicago

"Diving right in..." Wish I'd thought of that, lol. These forums, and associated Youtube vids, make maintaining everything a lot easier. And its cheaper, being basically a Chevy, compared to various German cars I've been driving. Now to find that car trailer... A 20 footer with left side...

SOLD: Two Carfax pulls available: how about $10 each?

Let me know you're interested. ( do we PM on this forum?) Paypal $ and send VIN and I'll send report. This sounds a little scammy as I write it, but I got the 3-fer Carfax package when I bought a Denali a few week ago- you can see my post of me "diving right in." Anyway, I only used one...

    Nubie in Chicago

Recently got a 2011 high mileage Denali for a tow vehicle. Its been well maintained but needed a left engine mount. After never having a "truck" before, I was/am stunned at the size of everything.
