Black Bear autocal & tune (July-ish)

Not too bad once you figure out the clips.
There are 6 bolts to remove, then 8 clips to undo.
Here is a video that helped a lot. I used a butter knife instead of a screw driver. It made it a lot easier to release the clips.
I need to adjust the horn switch to close the gap on the left side of the air bag a little, but I didn't noticed that until I put everything back together and my tools away. Need to discharge the battery again...
Busy afternoon!
Swapped the front upper and lower grille on my wife's Denali. She didn't like the circles.
And swapped the wood grain wheel with a heated ebony. It matches surprisingly well. There is enough black in the dash area to not seem out of place.
Happy wife!
Step one
Remove hex bolts. T-30 silver .T-15 black
Also remove the red clip (blue arrow)
Remove bracket.

Stripped down steering wheel.
Now to run to AutoZone to borrow a steering wheel puller to remove my wife's steering wheel.

If available, why would anyone use straight 91 or E85?
I have E85 nearby, so I'm doing this starting on my next fill-up! I'll log my results. We go through about a tank per week, so I'll update after tank # 4.
****update****
E85 costs $.10 more than regular unleaded in San Antonio... That...
Just bought the overhead console from an Enclave for $35 shipped. My gate clicker costs $40 and they aren't very durable so this is a no brainer for me.
There is one left at that price.

Link to the grille on Amazon. Its for a yukon slt since it doesn't for over the Denali mesh. Go to eat and find a good used stock yukon grille. Don't forget the "make an offer". I've successfully bid much lower than asking price on salvage parts.
Recent buys.
My grille was $260 asking...
I have a tracking number and it's out for usps delivery. I don't think it will get here tonight, unless they make a special run...
Update...
My wheel just got delivered. I might leave early from work today :D

My wife decided she liked the last one the best, but I had already ordered the other one (she originally said she liked the other one better )
If we ever lift it, I'll do the "tougher" looking one.
This was the chrome upgrade for the non-Denali Yukons. I also had to buy the lower black piece to replace the bumper grill.
I got it here
I offered $180 ($200 shipped) and they accepted.
Could just be me, but I've tried every way to get my gate clicker programmed in the system. For now, we just put some Velcro on it and stuck it in the little cubby next to the headlight switch. Not a big enough deal. We park in the driveway, so we don't carry garage door openers in the vehicles.
Do each of your buttons have a light on them or is there only a light in the center?
There is a separate set of instructions for the homelink system to program gate clickers and Canadian garage doors.
I plan on getting the Black Bear Autocal in the next month or two. Anything needed/recommended in advance? I haven't seen anything in particular, but figured I'd ask.
My truck has 69k miles on it and is stock with and will stay that way, aside from maybe a resonator delete. Long tubes are at...
He said the 535t won't work. He didn't comment on the escalade swap. That should work, it just costs more.
Personally, my next mod is a Black Bear tune, until then, this research is on hold. I'll be scanning eBay though in case a deal comes up.
Looks super easy - just borrow the steering wheel puller from AutoZone or wherever.
From what I've read, there are only 3 heated steering wheels that are a direct swap. There are more options for non heated and they are way easier to find. The heated wheel is a needed feature for my wife.
