all Joking asides, we love our suburban, as a large family, the only other option is a minivan (been there done that) or a full size van.
while I am crazy and would love a conversion van like a Savannah Explorer Short roof, realistically this suburban is perfect for us.
My Onstar gone (red light on Onstar mirro)
My GPS Gone (antenna reception logo crossed in red)
Not sure why either, I tried driving in a circle.
I havent tried disconnecting the batteries
I just figure it's because its a shit pile GM product.
you buy a 10k$ corolla and can drive it until...
Thanks I will have somewhere drop the pan and replace filter and new fluid for the transmission!
my Truck is a 2wd, so I dont think I would have any other fluid to change
Never changed any fluids apart from Brake fluid and Oil fluid.
I am not sure if I want the dealership trans fluid exchange or some other shop that are recommending fluid removal, flush and new fluid
I just want standard stuff
I am trying to gain back some lost MPG, noticed over the year, same driving but now 2mpg less
100k miles currently on the odo
also running rich at startup/idle (truck stinks big time, I have other modern v8 around, none smell like this)
not quite severe duty, but lots of Idling in the AZ Heat...
nope. remove the stock one, put on the other one.
Be Careful to use a clip/retainer removing tool, along with amazon cheap trim removing tools, bunch of tongues of various thickness.
I choose to take mine to a body shop and it took them an hour to take care of it.
the face off the wheels are bright machine finished. the rest of the wheels are a bright silver.
I am really surprise at all the effort put into the details on these wheels for an OEM piece.
the center caps are also very very nice and super solid.
Having them dismounted, I will now take some...
Thank you , I looked and while Rammount makes awesome products I am looking for a all in one un expensive tablet holder, Ram often have you do the holder + the base.
So I have a 15 with the second row bench.
as we all know, the headrest do not adjust up.
I bought one of these universal tablet holder but there is not enough room to clip it in place on the headrest arms. So my kiddos can watch something in the third row.
What do you guys use if anything? any...
What shocks did you go with? and for a transmission fluid change are you doing the exchange or doing a full flush then a refill? I am wondering what people are doing and what is the most standard thing to do before the dealership tries to sell my sonething
today I switched from 22 back to stock 18", we might sell after the summer the suburban for a newer one and I figure the 18" might gives us better mpg on the big road trip ahead.
I have them here for sale if anyone is interested...
Available locally in Phoenix, AZ or possible to ship
Before I put them locally for sale, if anyone is interested I am selling my 22" wheels
these are OEM 22" Wheels, that are optional on the Premier.
They are wrapped in Dualler All Terrain in the stock size of 285/45r22
there is good treads...
Next time I need Tires, I will try 305/45r22 summer tires. discount tire is cool that if I dont like them, I can switch to 285
according to tire size comparison website, that should net me another 1" of lift.
Makes use of the fact that I am lifted, curious to see how it will look
Came Back to this post to find lots of views and lots of replies.
I am glad I was able to provide a bit of useful info!
For once! Usually I am the one asking for help!
Would you mind sharing the part number for your 2" rear drop?
I got some lowering spring a while back from tony norcall SS but they were 4" and the rear was lower than the front.
I too have a suburban and the longer rear cargo/body shape, I really believe 2" is the max perfect drop.
Also, any...
Some very good Points here. Now it seems their service is inferior to my dealer who charged me $280 to put nitrogen in the tires.
The Nitrogen also came with some very nice green valve caps, remind me often how I made the right choice for the safety of my family.
This and the sheer size of the...
