The Unexplainable, Unresolved issue an expert LS builder and Dealership can't figure out

2015 Suburban, 60k miles. Stock apart from shocks, and a few exterior trim pieces. for now 6 months, I have noticed a ~Sweet Rubbing Alcohol" strong smell every time I start the Suburban. This is extremely important as we have someone with a medical condition and cant deal with the smell and...

    OffRoad Tires/Hybrid

Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S - Size: P285/45R22 I am running some very on road oriented All Terrain Tires, they are also some of the only all terrain that are light duty and do not need high PSI. Look wise they provide just enough all terrain look. To most it looks stock, to me looks exactly the...

Question about replacing Z85 Tahoe Rear Air Shocks

can't speak of rear air shock replacement but I did front and back Bilstein 5100 and I am very happy. Initially just to lift the nose up but really improved the quality of the ride over the stock which felt shot at 60k miles. I would contact them directly and ask about your particular application.

some options for you: -Weld in an electric exhaust cutout just before the muffler to be able to go from stock to loud and back and forth. -Get the GM Borla accessory exhaust system from your dealership to be sure you get an exhaust with minimum drone when cruising. these do retain the inline...

    BFG KO2's or Ridge Grapplers

you mentionned wanting something a bit more aggressive that will take some of the harshness out of the denali ride. How about switching to Michelin in standard OEM sizing? I myself, given I am on 22", switch to Bridstone Dualer A/T after seing how cool they look on some of the denali off road...

    Suggestions to improve bad suspension?

Some people here converted to standard non air suspension and I think they said that it helped. I would consider actually putting stock shocks if you wanted the best floaty cushy suspension over bad roads. Equally as important I would consider switching to 18" wheels with Standard load tires...

Regarding buying a Yukon: I would be really careful with dealer installed Leather. the wear and tear of the children car seats and the fact that these leather kit are not tight like OEM, mhmmm I would be careful. also, dealers can't touch other large used cars delaers who sell mostly ex rentals...

    2018 Tahoe 5.3l - Gas question

I only put 87 in mine. My Suburban sucks so much gas, i'll get the cheapest I can find. FYI here is some recent articles about how higher Octane might not be worth the increase in cost. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/buying-maintenance/a14425998/premium-gas-fuel-benefits/

    2019s

Resale value on these 18 and up expedition is going to pretty bad if they keep unloading it to fleets. I expect in a year or so, a comparable expedition in mileage to a Tahoe will be about 5 to 8k less. At least.

Tire Reviews Thread for 22'' Wheel

Lowering the rear is awesome. Just a word of caution though, I lowered mine in the past and achieved exact same ride height front, rear, the only thing I did not think about is that on our longwheel base model the rear part of the truck after the second row ended up being droopy, too low. things...

    15 Z71 Bilstein Install Front

I am looking to get 5100 all around done for both the front lift and the improved quality in dampening. I was wondering is there any reason to change the rear as well? Will it do anything for me? Are the issues discussed with ride quality and improvement just due to replacing the front? Maybe...

    275/65/18 vs. 285/65/18

Yep on stock everything. Actually would love to see the exact setup I had with a mild rear drop. I say mild because I got some springs from Tony @ NorCal that were nice and level the rear but I didn’t thing that perfectly level at the wheel gap would be too much for the suburban 3 row and cargo...

    275/65/18 vs. 285/65/18

Hello I think I can chime in regarding the 275. Not my current setup but previously I ran on my 15 Suburban Z71 midnight edition 18" over Good years A/T 275/65r18 SR/A. The picture don't do it justice, but there was a great difference look wise and I really appreciated the quality of the ride...
