    Question about fuel pumps

    I have a 2015 hoe with 158k on the clock, and im wondering if i should be expecting to replace the fuel pump soon. Reason i ask is because i had a 11 avalanche and the fuel pump went south on it around 151k. i have a few trips planned and i dont want to be broke down on the side of the road

    Disable battery saver?

    just installed a big 3 and a 400amp alternator, im getting battery saver active messages. the computer control of the alternator was bypassed using instructions and the pigtail from mechman, so i dont see why it keeps popping up. battery is full of life. any ideas?

    annoying noise

    so whenever i drive i get an annoying sound, its consistant with engine rpm. it sounds the way a power steering pump did when it was low on fluid. vehicle has a new serpentine belt and new idler pulley, and a new transmission. has 156k on the clock. 2015 tahoe

    Good 12v switched source close to alternator?

    Just bought a high out put alternator, need a good 12v switched source thats close to the alternator for it. Comes with the bypass so the computer no longer controls the alternator. I am not great with electric wiring, so i figure it would be better to ask and see what others used

    Oil for 5.3L to reduce consumption

    add a bottle of lucas oil oil stabilizer. i used to use it in my avalanche to help prevent lifter collapse with the stupid afm/dod. been using it in all my vehicles now just as an extra form of insurance.
