I was trying to find the Rancho kit, but couldn’t... makes sense now. ;)
Good to know you opted to remove the sway bar. I’m tempted to remove the rear to see the benefits off road.
Thanks for the info!
Any reason you kept your stabilizer bar connected? On my old leaf spring Wrangler I took it off with impressive articulation results. I just took it off my current Yukon as a first step towards improving off road capabilities. Just curious your thoughts.
This is great info here! I have been wondering how the lower control arm will be relocated and what will happen with the CV axle. Does all of that come with the Rancho kit?
Interesting you’re talking about this as this is my agenda as well. Family rides are always in my wife’s newer Yukon now, so I have my ‘07 all to myself.
I just removed the front stabilizer to gain better articulation. Drove it around tonight and it feels great! Kind of like going from...
Decided I didn’t want the front stabilizer bar anymore. Sprayed lots of penetrating oil. One bolt I was able to remove by loosen a bit, tighten a bit, etc. One bolt broke. And the other two I rounded the heads. Cut one with my Sawzall until I had to finish for noise concerns for my family...
Hi Paul. Sorry, I don’t have the answers you’re looking for, but my stock Bose speakers sounded way better after I installed the Kenwood DDX376BT to my ‘07 stock Bose system. I installed all the Maestro harnesses to retain the wheel controls and the chime (and whatever else it retained). I’m...
My guess is why downsize to 17’s when Denali’s come with 20’s. Not sure though. Would you please explain @chadw as I’m curious as well. Personally I’m digging black 17’s with a larger sidewall on the Denali...
Old photo: Since then I’ve replaced center caps, painted front clip and grills...
That’s too bad you have to deal with that! Hopefully ya’all can sort things out in a positive way so you can put your guard down. Neighbors are supposed to be helpful!
I have too many questions! Haha! Your neighbor tried to kill you?!? You seriously need to carry a gun to feel safe to mow your lawn?!?! That’s crazy, yo! Who are these neighbors!? I have to keep my eye out for the pack of coyotes and bear around, but they leave me alone...and certainly...
That must have been hard! I can’t imagine doing that without a Jack! But then again I’m one weak fellow.
I feel comfortable that nothing happened with my diff or axle shaft. Everything looked good when I pulled the shaft, so a much more easy repair than yours. :p
