My Tahoe looked exactly like yours when my oil pan was leaking.
In the first pic you posted, see the circle cover on the bell housing? Pop that off with a little blade screwdriver. Take a flashlight and look into the hole at the flywheel gear. If oil is on the gear from the center splashed...
In the last week I've installed Corsa Sport Exhaust and an Airaid Jr. inatke. Did an oil change today.
I cut 3 inches off the end of the exhaust pipe before I attached the tips. Tucks under the wheel well. Looks cleaner.
Thanks for the info everyone. Picked up the Airaid Jr (no filter) for $111 off Amazon. Couldn't pass up that deal. I'll have it Saturday. Curious to how it will sound.
From my understanding and the reading I've done on here, the stock intake is really restrictive. But at the same time does upgrading to an aftermarket intake like the Airaid Jr. really worth the $100+?
I'm thinking about picking up the Airaid Jr., but before I do I want to make sure the money...
Rain finally stopped and I was able to give the Tahoe a quick rinse. Snapped these pics real quick.

Let me know what you guys think. I'll try and get some video soon.
Did the install myself in the rain last night. Woke up this morning with a very stiff neck. I think I pulled a muscle in my neck. Also, I didn't support the stock muffler when I cut it out. Came crashing down about 2 inches from my head. Was a lot heavier than I originally thought. lol...
Took my Tahoe to the local muffler shop today to see if they could fix the gap issue. He discovered the hanger on the car (not the Corsa exhaust) was bent so he fixed it. Exhaust is all tucked up now. I also had him cut 3 inches off the end so the exhaust tips don't stick out too far. Looks...
Got the exhaust on tonight. Did it by myself. Pretty straight forward. Very happy with it.
Only thing, how do I make the gap between the exhaust tips and rear side quarter less? Do I need to have someone push up on the muffler while I tighten all the clamps? Right now there is about a 4 finger gap.
Exhaust still hasn't arrived. Called Corsa this morning. They said the exhaust I ordered is not a kit they keep in stock, rather they build them as people order. Mine won't be built until Dec. 10th, and then figure another 5 to 6 days to get from Ohio to Southern California.
Bummer. :(
Noticed my transmission inspection cover was missing. Does anyone know the part number? Tried to look online, can't find it. Any place I can order online?
