Could be the mixer valve (controller) or a bad vacuum hose. Since you say you can get it to do it correctly occasionally, I'd guess it's the controller. (Mixer or whatever you want to call it. LOL)
I'll just add when my transmission went out the lines to and from the cooler and radiator had to be replaced as well as the cooler and radiator before the new transmission went in. Hope it's not that bad for you. But check.
I agree with the above suggestions. If you have the tension type sway control arm, tighten it up for the high straight roads where you get the sway. And then if that doesn't work get a 2" lower drop hitch.
Maybe connect your voltmeter between the battery and the disconnected terminal connector to see how much is draining? Then start pulling accessory fuses.
Link errors are usually seen when the ignition isn't switched to the "on" position after it connects. I hate to ask but, are you sure it's in the right position?
I agree with all the above and can relate. I buy a lot of parts from Autozone and since they offer lifetime replacement I figured why not? Well why not turned into replacing it about 2 yrs later. RA carries the Delphi and is a lot less money than Napa but as stated their lifetime warranty seems...
You don't say how many miles are on the tranny. As we all know, dirt and worn clutch materials will destroy a transmission real quick. You can change the fliud but unless you drop the pan and clean the sludge out it's not coming out in the drain. And you may have done just that. I'm just...
Believe it or not, they make Stainless Steel Velcro. I first saw this in the late '80s when I was in the RV Mfg business. A Velcro rep brought some in. It was created for NASA he said. It was too much fun to see even the biggest guys try to separate his sample piece that was about 1-1/2" wide...
I just encountered a similar noise/problem with another vehicle. The drum edge had "grown" with rust and was making enough contact on the backing plate in one spot to be annoying. Obviously this vehicle sat in a wet area for some time. My point being, not all noises come from brake pads or...
I'd also make sure the throttle plate operates correctly. With the key on press the gas pedal and observe. Some of those get out of whack from improper handling while cleaning. IE moving it by hand.
Rocket Man you ARE Da Man! That's something I never knew. Now turning my phone to Landscape has opened a whole new world to me! LOL! This is what happens when your phone is smarter than you.
A few years back a coworker was excited about meeting a real "African Princess". He'd met her online and had been communicating with her for a while. She talked him into a new laptop so she could continue to talk to him and then asked for $2000 so she could make her way here to be with him. He...
Most likely the sender. I was able to use a regular deep socket on mine. Make sure the crush washer on the sender doesn't get cocked when you install it. And don't use anything but Genuine GM or AC Delco. You don't want to do it again. I use moving pads to lay on to protect my body and also...
I replaced mine. Got a lifetime warranty outta Autozone. Yeah it's a Dorman but it's been working great for years now. I was always afraid to try those repair places where you ship your cluster to. And didn't want to wait for the turnaround time. ncalvo, glad to hear that worked for you!
I'm just throwing this out....I had a couple bad Oil Pressure Senders. One that just leaked. Oil will run down the DS. If you can, lie on top of the motor on the DS and see if you can get your phone on the sender and see if it's dry, or leaking. Sometimes you can get your hand with your phone in...
5 hp! Was that ever proven on a Dyno? I remember when you had to change plugs every 5-10k. Now they're 100k rated. Does it smooth out with a small increase in idle? Could it be coincidence? How's the IAC? For me, a rough idling 5.3 is normal.
Wouldn't be the first time a plug was gapped and then hit heavy going into the hole closing the gap some. Also wouldn't be the first time new parts were bad. I'd check everything just because I'm OCD and it would bug me.
You know its BS. There should be a law. I see the local commercials where they take 8 grand off the msrp. And you know they're still making a killin'. Since when did you think a Auto Dealership is honest?
