The first method, no turn over. Just crank. All dash lights on. It did not stop on its own, BTW. Released the pedal, turned back on and it started right away.- tkdgirl

Not that it means anything but I ran Torque Pro and here are the results. Everything was ok except all the EVAP stuff. I also ran the data on the Fuel Pressure/Trim Sensors. When it was idling while the test was running, it seems to sputter a bit. 2011 Denali XL with Flex Fuel- tkdgirl

It does not. Tried the 3 sec/5 sec this morning and it wouldn't turn over (start). Came back 5 min later and it started right up.- tkdgirl

I'm certainly not mechanically inclined but I'll try to explain what's been going on. In July, after a series of overheating mishaps a good friend of mine who rebuilt engines took a look see. He heard some really bad knocking and suspected some pretty bad damage so he tore the entire engine...- tkdgirl

Replace fuel filter
Everything I've seen about fuel filter replacement has it on a driver side along the bottom rail. But my mechanic swears it's inside the fuel pump. I have a 2011 Yukon XL Denali. If it's indeed along the rail underside is it pretty easy to change? Anyone have a video I can watch?- tkdgirl

Hi everyone, As I attempted to replace the cracked dash cover panel, I discovered the drivers side window pillar with Bose speaker had a broken upper clip and will not reattach. How do I know what color? There are so many. I'm assuming its grey but who knows with GMC. The number in the glove... -
Tires for 2013 tahoe
Also interested for my 2011 Yukon XL Denali. It's stored in the winter (no rust at all) and I use it for mostly highway/towing in the warmer months. Stock sized Michelins now. Looking for the best tire for highway/towing. I have used General Grabber AT2s on previous vehicles. -
Gas Tank Strap Rusted Off. Now What?
Thanks all! I've been on vacation and just now getting back to this. As for welding to the frame, the frame is so rusted no one will do it. I do like the idea of through the floor. As for what side (driveshaft, etc.), I'll crawl under today and take a look see. -

In late 2019, my mechanic had to go through the Tahoe floor to change the fuel filter because the gas tank straps were so rusted, if he took them off, he wouldn't be able to reattach to the very rusty frame. Cleaning didn't fix it.it now happens every time I lock it with the fob. Alarm lasts for a minute or so then stops.- tkdgirl
