I figured if the lifter was bad I would hear a tick or knocking, sounds great minus the misfire if you rev it up to around 2000 it does miss as bad. A guy told me to buy 4.8 valley cover and turn the dod off would I have to change anything else to turn the dod off or if I would have to tune it- 07yukon19

Alright did compression 165, getting fuel, spark replace the volm again and still getting the same results check the connector doesn’t look burnt I’m kinda at a lost- 07yukon19

Hooked my scanner up cylinders 1,4,6 I would command the solenoid on it was a hit or miss with them clicking, cylinder 6 worked once, cylinder 7 would click every time- 07yukon19

Only code is p0300 I have a hood scanner will try to activate tonight to see if I here the valve close and open- 07yukon19

New afm lifters, cam and volm if you turn over by hand the lifters operate. on start up it was cylinder than start and cylinder 6 rockers stop- 07yukon19

Recently just did cam, lifters, push rods, and change the VOLM after a cylinder 6 lifter collapsed tore apart and went back together fine on start up 6 was a constant miss fire swapped coil, wires still no give took valve cover off on start up rockers move for 3 seconds then stop- 07yukon19
