    If you replaced it with another Chevy dealer transmission, then I would sell it before the warranty is up. Those transmissions are junk. Converters fail and eat the tranny up. Just dropped 7k on one for our 2017. Garbage.

    I check it how the service manual says to check it when cold, since it was cold. Running, level ground, hold break, go through gears, and so on. But seriously? Even with a grossly inaccurate reading, would it be 1.75” above the hot mark?

    I have the phaser on correctly with the cam pin into the back of the phaser. When I tighten the phaser bolt down, it went to 48 ft lb very easy.     Awesome. Yea I would do springs retainers and push rods as well. Seems like they would be the easiest thing to go out on you and easily replaced. Did you say around how much you spent on whole thing? Sorry. I can’t go back and look in this screen.
