    If you have a dipstick to check fl you I'd level, it's probably a 6L80 Transmission. The vehicle is going into a safety lock up because there are internal problems. I'm not an expert, but might be looking at a rebuild/replace situation, from what I've read on other threads.

    Well it's done and back on the road. The dealer called the following Monday after drop off on that previous Thursday. They asked me for permission to transfer the Yukon to a GM service center, as they (not a GM dealership) weren't equipped to do the work. The invoice stated $7,000 in repairs...
