Hey! Not sure why im
Just getting the notification for your question now lol.
TBH I haven't done much wheeling with this rig. Have done a few fire roads which have been primarily flat. What I can say is that there is some slight rubbing at full lock when coming out/into a steep driveway. I...
Looking for any insight on this as well. I'm itching to trade my Tahoe for a CPO z71 Suburban near by.
The Tahoe is level on Fox shocks, would love a similar set up on a Suburban.
Keep me posted on your ready lift!
Did you ever lift the Suburban?
I'm currently driving a 20 Tahoe, but am in the market of upgrading to a Suburban.
The current ride has a Cognito level kit w Fox shocks. Height is only increased by about 3" up front, so essentially a level.
I've been searching for anything similar for the...
What year is your vehicle? I was looking at this exact system with the dual exhaust but it states that is is for a 21+ vehicle.
I have a 2020 Tahoe. Let me know if this system worked with yours, as I’d prefer dual exahaust vs single
The Gen 2 Raptors (17-20) come with Fox 2.5s from factory. Considering my familiarity with their capability, this route was a no brainer for me.
I’d highly recommend the 2.5s up front if you seek improvement with handling. I’m sure you can upgrade them and sell your 2.0s here, however at around...
I’ve got a Cognito motor sports kit…
3” Up front and added a 2” rear coil spacer.
Tires are Toyo RT 295/70/17
The only time I have some rubbing up front is at full lock driving either up or down a slope
Rides great! My previous vehicle was a 2019 Raptor, so it’s definitely a hard comparison.
However, on the pavement I would say the new suspension is very plush and about 75% comparable to how my Raptor felt on the road.
I was able to put in about 600 miles with the new set up this past...
Thanks! Had blast this weekend camping and hangin at the lake.
Of course!
Current build specs:
Suspension:
Cognito UCAs
3” Level w/ Fox 2.5 up front
rears Fox 2.0 + 2” coil spacers
Wheels:
Black Rhino Calico 17x8.5
0 offset 4.75 BS
Tires:
Toyo RT 295/70/17
Love how this turned out!
Ended up just adding 2” coil spacers to the rear. Would’ve preferred longer coils, but the spacers were available the next day… opposed to a 3-4 day wait with coils.
Just in time for our LDW camping trip.
Just wondering which route you ended up going?
I am currently in the process of getting a Cognito kit with Fox shocks installed, which raises the front 3”.
I’d prefer a replacement coil for the rear, opposed to a spacer, considering some of the off roading I do.
Can anyone confirm if OEM z71...
Fox 2.5 and rear 2.0
I did read that some people have done the 1.5 rear spacer. So it makes sense with what you’ve mentioned.
I did end up getting this exact kit and the rig is currently at my buddy’s shop getting the suspension installed. He asked me as well regarding any rear coils…...
Greetings yall!
So I just recently sold my 2019 Raptor and have now taken over my wife’s Tahoe. I’ve been lurking here for the last few weeks…
I just purchased the Cognito Elite kit.
Can anyone out there with this set up let me know what’s the largest size tires I can put? I’m seeing 295 as...
