@B-train: Agree, ride sensors probably will be confused. My mechanic did the one-inch level up front. Since then i have not heard the air pump run. I asked him if he disabled it, but he can't remember. The one-inch lift up front is going to have a cascade effect I'm afraid. step at a time...
Ya, some stores call it a "specialty" shock. I'm shopping too (front shocks). I have an 05 Denali. ACDelco part 580-439. Monroe part 400-44. Amazon and Walmart best prices.
I'm trying to decide Monroe vs AC Delco for front of my 05 Denali. I can find the travel specifications of the Monroe, but I can't find the travel specifications for the AC Delco. AC Delco a little less right now ($316 ea.) Monroe ($346 ea). Amazon and Walmart have the best prices.
I have a 2005 Denali lifted in front by 1-2 inches. I've decided to replace front shocks with factory electronic dampening type. I'd like to maintain full travel of the shocks, so can I put on metal shock extenders? I'm concerned that the electronic signal might not go through the metal shock...
Nit: "its just a sensor" is only half of the electronic dampening feature. The sensor provide input to the computer and then the computer provides an output to the shock. The shock is the Actuator. which provides the electronic dampening.
I leveled my 05 Denali by raising the front about an inch (as compared to lowering the rear.) It is my understanding that you will lose shock absorber "travel" when you lift or lower the vehicle if using factory length shocks. I need a front shocks and was disappointed Arnott does not make a...
BTW, I see your Yukon is a 2007 which is first year in the series. Have you experienced or heard of first year "growing pains" or design flaws that had to be addressed?
Thank you so much! Finally, the info I was seeking (rear shocks).
Almost bought the Arnott SK-3062 for the front, but discovered it is not active electric. it costs more than their budget front shock because it is made by Eibach. From the research I've done, you have to go with the...
2005 Denali: Regarding suspension conversion kits, why do some manufactures include rear coil springs while some do not? just spoke to Arnott on the phone and they think I don't have rear coils, but I do. My wife has a 2002 Tahoe with Autoride and her's has rear factory coils as well. The...
update: yes, I'm slow. Good thing I have other vehicles to drive.
I feel dumb because I noticed I forgot to connect a ground wire. That's why it wouldn't start.
Double dumb. When I started it, oil came gushing out the oil cooler line where it was connected to the radiator. I didn't think of it...

I'm new to the forum. Somehow, I think I have two threads going on this same subject which is why you didn't know I had a supercharger. Correct, Edelbrock has told me there is no difference and no problems with relocating the oil pressure sensor.
In the beginning, I was driving about 45 miles per hour and that's when the sudden loss of oil occurred. Lots of oil on the pavement and all over the driver's side engine and wheel wheel. this has happened before and the culprit was the oil pressure sensor which is mounted in the engine block...
To Doubeleive: Thanks. To clarify: since the sudden loss of oil, I've drained the remaining oil, replaced the oil filter, and put 5 quarts new oil in. I also replaced the suspect oil pressure sensor. When I try to start the vehicle, it cranks and oil pressure as seen on dash is zero (coming...
All concerned: Most all posts I see regarding exhaust systems revolve around the sound. not important to me. I want to know which exhausts help performance. any advice much appreciated.
