I recently had this issue when I ordered an exedy clutch. Someone returned the part with an inexpensive ebay clutch but rockauto reimbursed me with no issues.
I noticed it and just assumed it was the crap rough country front suspension. I rectified it and replaced it with bilstein 6100 coilovers and heavy duty adjustable tie rods
Thats what local dealers charge yes, it's a good deal, Especially if they actually inspect for issues. I had a missing tie rod and no one said anything about it for 4 oil changes lol
Just the bottoms but I ordered replacement leather to fix it. It was only 2500 wasn't expecting much honestly lol but it runs great and the dash isn't cracked up. Only 135k mileage and not accidents according to carfax
picked up a commuter/beater. 07 tsx 6 speed $2500. Needs a rack and pinion and I'm sure all fluids, normal maintenance items and a proper detail as far as I can tell.
I'll just order the sr4079s and a 1.5 spacer. These n2 rough country's have only been on here for a year and are already done. I can't get the bilstein 5100 because I don't have the stock spring perches. Oh well
How are they holding up im switching out these garbage rough country's next week and between the srm4079 and standard sr4079 but wondering if the drastic price difference is worth it.
I probably would've went to Japan but the bumper to bumper for 100k isn't bad either. I feel you will use that more than once and will make up for itself overtime.
I agree with everyone here. I typically do spark plugs and all fluid changes when my vehicles hit 100k. Tranmission service 60ishk miles. But most fluids are easy if you follow youtube directions.
4wheel parts auto shop quoted me 3grand with new front axle seals to go from 3.08s to 3.73s not that bad. Maybe I'll see if I can find one of those 14bolts though
Congrats on the 205k mileage! Keep her going! But put it on jack stands and see if you can duplicate the noise in the air to pinpoint it. Bearings, parking break and axles are a good place to check. Differential fluid changes if it hasn't been done recently
So today I ordered sway bar links and sway bar bushings. When I changed the oil the other day I noticed there was no left sway bar link...lol so 3 dealer oil changes, alignment, and transmission fluid changes later and not one tech noticed??? Wtf oh and passed va state inspection with no sway...
