Axle ratio to tire size input needed

Agreed. Just swap the tires and see. People run giant ass tires on stock gears all the time.

    Benefits of the diesel?

Repair costs are higher in the diesel but honestly for the length of time the original owners keep these trucks it shouldn't be anything to worry about. I'm actually pretty staunchly against diesels in 2500/3500 sized trucks because of the added cost/complexity vs something like Ford's gas 7.3...

    Missing tire pressure decal

You would either do the math of what all you've added, or you would weigh your car. Yes it's safer to err on the high side versus the low side, but I've towed many a mile with near-stock pressures and no excessive tire heat noticed.

    Missing tire pressure decal

There's a good bit amount of bad information in this thread. You should basically never use the max sidewall pressure unless you are also at max payload. If you can't feel the difference between 51psi and 35psi -- I'm jealous of your smooth roads. 10-20% over recommended will help in steering...

    DOD Delete Theory

Post #10 and #12 at the forum below make sense to me. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iv-internal-engine/1926466-5-3-dod-delete-using-stock-cam.html#post20151896 However, I do not believe that 15PSI less will cause an issue but I would not risk it for my own sanity. You, however, say you...

SOLVED: extremely high pitched, intermittent, electronic sound

In my case this failed module presents itself as a SUPER high frequency whine originating from the module itself. Putting my ear directly on the module isolated the issue then I started googling for fix videos. I ended up just disconnecting the module (as shown in the video) since I don't care...

    Towing stability

My very first post on here was thanking someone who posted a fix for my iPhone connected to my truck in 2019. I don't have a ton of posts but I am reading a lot of the discussion to store it away in my brain for the day I may need it. So thank you guys for chiming in when you do!

    5.3 rebuild guestions

I got quoted $4000 recently for a bare bones AFM delete on my 5.3L recently in Alabama. Just for more points of reference.

Key Fob / Remote Start question for 2013 Yukon

Thank you! If I program a second fob (and reprogram the first fob) will anything need to change with the physical ignition key? I assume not, just want to clarify before I brick my...brick lol.

Key Fob / Remote Start question for 2013 Yukon

Short version: What's needed to add a second key fob to my 2013 Yukon? I do not need a physical key cut. Longer version: I have two physical metal keys and one loose key fob. I'm looking to buy a second fob and get it programmed to the car. The fob I currently have looks like this one: I'm...

4+ years later and I just stumbled on this post via Google. I wanted to comment for other's that this indeed still works. Thanks OP! (sorry for bumping the old thread)
