    I would agree maybe on wiring but not corrosion unless that was the fastest corrosion I’ve ever seen being I’ve only had the Tahoe less than three weeks and got it with only 16 miles on it and it had less than 800 miles on it when the code came up.

    I’m going to take mine in and see what they say. I’ll let you know when i get an answer so you can see if it helps. Mine was the same way, I’ve had nothing since it warmed up. The 4WD going out only when it’s cold when more than likely you are going to need it isn’t optimal.

    It doesn’t matter what mode it’s in 2WD or Auto it will fail when cold. I never leave it parked in 4WD as I’m not off road and there’s no need to even select anything other than 2WD/Auto.

    Brand new 2024 RST Duramax on initial startup when cold (like 3°, which is cold where we are at) i get a “service 4WD” message and cannot select any mode for the 4WD.     Yes i can live with them. I really don’t notice them to much until the salt from the roads turns them white, but he’ll so is the rest of the Tahoe at that point.
