    Lifter valley emissions tube?

There is an emissions tube in the lifter galley that needs replacing ever so often to maintain good oil pressure. What is it called? I see a metal tube "set" on top of the lifter valley plate, but nothing like this plastic or rubber tube that was described under that plate. I don't think they...

Partial List of Front Torsion Bars

I ordered a used set with 100k on them from a local yard. We'll see how these go. The set that is on here I think was strained with a lift and abuse when new or just replaced with a shit part to get it out the door initially. Soon it won't be a problem. The dealership didn't even know a good...

New guy. Refreshing an '06 Border Patrol Tahoe.

Ok. The rest of the parts are ready, waiting for a slot to open up at the shop. This will get the engine/transmission mounts in and the rest of the front end lift kit.

Now there's an idea! I do have a tow hitch installed. Deer when dressed are about 75-125lbs depending. Found this, too. https://www.discountramps.com/hunting/game-carts-hoists/p/DEER-HOIST-CARRIER/

Partial List of Front Torsion Bars

I found it on my glovebox sticker. 15712407 - LH (6WX) (Max torque 5826) 15712408 - RH (7WX) (Max torque 5826) These are apparently no longer made and I need new ones. Go figure. (edit) These are a tad pricey but would fit the bill it seems. Anyone used these as replacements? The site doesn't...

Are those chassis codes or option codes listed in the glove box (ex. 6GF) ?

    2006 engine mounts

What brand engine mounts do you guys like for an '06 Tahoe? I see cheap options and OEM, per usual. 200k on these was a good stretch but I think they were done a while ago. I'm also curious if long tube headers shorten engine mount life with excess heat.

New guy. Refreshing an '06 Border Patrol Tahoe.

They're just fire roads that cross some creeks here and there. This should get me over rutted roads comfortably and not beat me up too much. I don't quite trust a tent with bears, coyotes, mountain lions, and wild hogs in the southeast. The Georgia Traverse looks interesting and there's a lot of...

There. Now quit whining :p It's not much to look at, which is the whole idea. No squat BS. It's mostly quiet. I'll likely get some 33s after these tires are done but that's a ways off. (Yes, we fixed the loose drain fitting on the caliper.) There is just enough room in the back to fit me for...

New guy. Refreshing an '06 Border Patrol Tahoe.

Howdy, y'all. I'm almost done refreshing my 190k 2006 Tahoe. It has a fairly colorful history and is enjoying retirement as a good daily. It will double as an overland camping vehicle. Pics in bio. The '06 vintage for Border Patrol I think simply had a Z71 suspension and 4.10 gears. I'll be...
