Plastic rocker scuff plate removal?
I figured it out it's fastened in with clips on the face of the rocker panel. The piece pulls straight out away from the body. The rear door has to come off to remove the entire piece. -

I think that may be what it already had done and then sprayed over with undercoat or bedliner but that too has deteriorated so I would like to find something that won't corrode so I'm looking for something ABS or plastic. They make them for the trucks crew cabs and extended cabs. I don't see... -

I sourced some impact sensors from a junkyard. Got 7 and 4 were good. Disconnected the battery, removed the 30 amp RTD fuse and reconnected the battery. Both messages cleared. -
