I did the fluid change, did not flush, have been told by too many of their horror stories and decided a change would probably be fine. Not rude at all. I realized going into this that it may end up being a bad tranny but it never hurts to try first. I am currently thinking that is what it is, since there are no codes and I can not find anything but "R&R". Unfortunately, I really do not want to spend the $1200 or so it will cost...- DangerGirl

Update..... So the truck will not throw any codes. I went ahead and changed both solenoids, since they are relatively inexpensive and right next to each other, what the heck. The truck is still doing the exact same thing. Goes from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 and then nothing. I am having trouble...- DangerGirl

OK.....Wow..... I have not been able to take it for a test drive as of yet. I am planning on doing that tomorrow and working on it then. If I can not get it to throw any codes then I will take it somewhere to have it looked at. I will post any codes or other information that I get tomorrow...- DangerGirl

Ok, here are more details..... It seems to be making two shifts....1 to 2 and 2 to 3 and then nothing. Then it just doesn't shift. The faster I go, the higher the RPMs go. My 2005 4x4 Yukon is having major issues! When the engine is cold it seems ok but once it heats up the RPMs go crazy. Meaning, when I am going 40mph the RPMs are between 6 and 7.
