    Solder sucker / plunger thingy I have works ok too. But really, Im not too worried about putting too much heat into the pcb, theres nothing near the light bulb sockets (as in no ICs).

    2001 Tahoe Weak Heat

    My 2000 Yukon does the exact same thing. ENgine comes up to temp, tstat is fine, but low heat from the heater. I back flushed it last year, not much of an improvement. I guess I will live with it. Major PITA to replace.

    So, to be clear, You used the 1092 to replace the headlight switch backlight? My headlight switch backlight is also burned out, the 1092 is alot smaller than the original bulb. Does that even matter?

    ok thanks. Looks like thats a Radio Shack P/N. I also have 272-1154, mebbe those are the slightly larger ones. When I go I will get a handful of both. Hopefully, new bulbs will do the trick. Just an annoyance not having the ac lights lit up john

    The bulbs in my AC panel have burned out, the ones that illuminate the bottom buttons (as in fresh or recirculate, and rear defogger ac buttons). Anybody know what the P/N for replacement bulbs?
