Tahoe 2007 MR Shocks
I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I recently had the upper ball joints replaced and at that time I was told that my struts were leaking. The shop said they are MR shocks and to replace them it is $1200 per axel. There is an option of replacing with passive shocks but that could pose problems...- jimlenz

Anyway to know that for sure? Next month will be 5 years so if that is the case, I can take it in now. Any thoughts on the "electronic" struts?- jimlenz

I have a 2007 Tahoe with 83,000 miles. I was at the shop doing the brakes today and was told that my struts are leaking and the upper control arm ball joints need to be replaced. The struts are electronic and 2,000 for front and back which I am not inclined to do. The control arms are...- jimlenz
