I have a 2007 Suburban LT with the non-powered lift gate. I noticed last week that my rear hatch wouldn't open up. I had to drill out the peg in the hatch panel to get a screw driver in to release the latch lock on the actuator. I figured the unit was bad so I order a brand new unit from Rock...
I went through the oil consumption test on my 07 suburban for about 6 months with the dealer showing them that I was loosing about 1 to 1.5 quarts of oil per 1500 miles. So the long story short was that my piston rings were bad on the truck and new piston, piston rings were ordered and replaced...
It was $4K for the wheels, tires, the TPMS and mounting and balancing. I thought I was doing the right thing by going to a brick and mortar shop to get my first set of wheels. So far its been a nightmare.

They came with a 305/30/26 size tire. Man the wheels have never left the shop and these folks want me to eat the deal cause of their mistake. I just want all that information in hand especially when I get the BBB in on this ordeal. That's why its so important that I find out what the manufacture...
So here is the story and why I need some help. About a year ago I purchased some rims on layaway from a local tire repair/ custom wheel shop. The wheels are 26x9.5 DIP Libra 15 wheels that are suppose to fit my 2007 suburban. It took a little over a year but I had finally paid all the money...
Anyone here running this setup at all? I'm seriously considering buying this for my 07 suburban mainly to get about a 2" lift up front to get a better fitment of my 26's wheels and tires. Wheels are DIP Libra 15 on Lexan LX9500 (305/30/26) series tires. I'm looking for more of a leveled look on...
So I've been calling around trying to find a shop that installs Bilstein and I came across a shop that wanted to install some Bilstein C176 series adjustable struts on the front for around $550. Is that a reasonable deal?
So new shocks all around should help out a bit? If that's the case then I'll price them out and get it done this weekend. Thanks for the suggestion. This is my first time every buying aftermarket wheels on any vehicle I've ever owned and I wanted to get it right.
To be honest I don't want to lower the truck. I would like to bring the front up a bit to be even with the rear. I know I don't sound like the norm here but I want to try and avoid cutting the inner fender plastic and just lift the front up a bit.
For those here with 07-up tahoe & suburbans with 26s wheels, what did you guys do to fix the wheel well rubbing? I have 305/30/26 tires and the ride height is stock on my truck. It appears that my front height is a bit lower than the rear so the tire shop thinks that my truck's front springs...
