    Ok I swapped the two pink wires around that go to the main trans. Harness round plug. My fuse no longer blows, but my trans is still in limp mode. Any ideas? My shift indicator light still acts funny, it's prob. A crossed wire that goes to the neutral safety switch. Plz somebody chime in,,!!!

    Ok there is not any wire that I have not inspected. All wires are in good shape and none of them are grounded. So it only can be either a wire put in backwards or mismatched or one or some of the electronic copoments inside the trans has gone bad. I was told if the main trans elec plug was not...

    Ok, I traced one of the two Pink wires coming from the #20 fuse. The pink wire going to the instrument cluster is fine. Any idea where the second pink wire goes so far it goes somewhere under the truck to the trans?

    When I put the key in and put it in the on position everything works as it should, except The shift indicator light is off. When I try to start it the shift indicator light comes on but nothing happens. When I let off the key from start to on position. The shift indicator light goes back off.
