They are only replacing one side per approval from GM. Cam shaft inspection says it is ok. Not very pleased after dumping so much cash on this vehicle.
Seems the bent lifter issue is still happening. My 2022 Z71 with 2300 miles got towed off to the dealer today since it lost power and had tons of errors/alarms. I just heard from the dealer that the lifters are bent. I waited specifically for a 2022 because of this issue, but it happened...
I have a 2022 Z71 and a 2018 Premier. The 2018 alerts us when cars are out of sight down the road, but my new 2022 barely notices until they are just before the rear camera can see them. Is this a "premier" vs. Z71 issue or just "progress" or vehicle to vehicle variation or just plain not...
The running boards on the Z71 are attached in 4 places. The metal arms are covered by a plastic housing. On mine, at 50+ on a windy day or 70+ otherwise, at least one rattles. I found a short-term fix is to jam zip ties between the body and the plastic. Hope this helps someone. Stupid fix...
I've already stated that I will honor all my contractual obligations.
So many have assumed something nefarious, but I want to protect myself. No credit union would want their customers to be unprotected from loss. The title exists for a reason--to prove ownership--so having it out seems...
Here's a story for you. I originally leased my 2018 Suburban and decided to finance it while rates were low. My credit union paid off my lease buyout. Here's the interesting part. I get an email today from the credit union saying that the tax office made a mistake and sent me the title...
I have never tried it, but can you switch from ignition to remote start? I had an aftermarket remote starter in a Toyota that allowed me to press remote start and then pull the key.
I need 22 pieces, but I was going to make several trips to spread out the expense. This is why I'd like to figure out how to do it with what I already own.
Has anyone successfully transported 20' lengths of wood on top of their Suburban? How would you secure it? I have a roof rack, but I can remove it too. I have moving blankets and crank straps.
I also have an 8' trailer, but 20' will hang off the back quite a bit, and I don't have a truck...
I have opportunity to drive two different 2018 Suburbans. Both have the 5.3L engine. The 2WD has the trailering package with the different final gear. The AWD/4WD one has the regular final gear ratio. The AWD seems to shift slower than the 2WD. Is this typical? I used to have a 2011 Denali...
I drove a 5.3 with a pedal commander. It makes a huge difference. I had a 6.2L Denali (2011), and it had a slow transmission too. Get a throttle booster. It is worth it, IMO.
