Where is the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor on a 2 Door!?
Problem solved... Apparently the '97 2 door Tahoe has a bastardized EVAP system. There is no tank pressure sensor or vent valve as found on the 4 doors. The 2 door has an "Evap Canister Diagnostic Switch" (AC Delco PN 212578) that sits just upstream of the purge valve on the intake. Mine was...- Bull Gear

Where is the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor on a 2 Door!?
After hours of searching I still don't know. I have the P1441 EVAP PURGE DURING NON-PURGE code on my '97 Tahoe 2 door 4x4. I pretty much ruled out the purge valve, so I suspect it must be a bad tank pressure sensor. I dropped the tank today to replace the sensor and... uh... no pressure sensor...- Bull Gear
