    my thoughts exactly, but I figure it's broke, might as well fix and see. looks like it's time to study some wire diagrams and see what I can come up with, if anything at all. All other electrical components work fine. Just this interior lighting and intermittent horn thing.

    Heater Control Unit, or something else?

    I have a 98 2-door Tahoe and have had an issue with the HVAC. It only blows air out of the windshield defroster vents, this is acceptable for now, since it's wintertime and that's the setting it will be on most of the time. I would, however, like to figure out what's wrong and fix it sometime...
