You buy new vehicles (2016 Tahoe LT) so you don't have to worry about this, right? 4 months ago it was a problem with the seat heaters, now the HMI unit is bad. Dealership confirmed but they don't have an ETA for getting a new one. So I have to drive my busted Hoe on vacation next week [emoji35]...
Guys, there are a bunch of threads on this mirror swap. It's not as straight forward as it seems. One person has done successful custom harnesses for this mirror upgrade but only on Silverado trucks. I have yet to see Tahoes done.

How about the memory function? Do your seat memory settings save mirror position as well? That's really the only reason I want to upgrade [emoji23]

The DL8 to DL3 mirror swap is a hot topic on GM truck forums but not here? Surely we want this too? I've heard wire harnesses and pins need to be reconfigured to have full functionality.

I've read that you can't add OEM brake controller to the 2016 Tahoes so I need advice on an aftermarket kit. I'd like it to look as factory as possible and not hanging off the trim. Any suggestions?

The seat heaters work in warmer conditions (above freezing) so it's probably not the fuses. I'll bring it in this week.

Only seems to be a problem in cold weather, when I need it! Doesn't matter if I auto start or key start. Anyone else with this problem?

Love the color. We just got a 2016 Tahoe LT 4WD, same color. This forum is great, I've been a long time Tahoe owner and forum user. Welcome!

Lame. I figured the LT and Z71 were the same minus the off road package. People buy the LTZ for the cooled seats, or so I thought. Oh well

Got all four steering wheel buttons on Amazon for $76. There isn't much wire behind each button so be patient when removing and installing.

People have said it's possible to install a subwoofer with the existing Bose system. I also noticed in the rear left console (over the wheel) there is a space to install a sub. How easy is this to do? Is there a wiring harness already in that space? I'm a novice audio guy, so I don't want to...
I never thought I'd spend as much time as I do cleaning and detailing my rig! :buffer: I debadged my Hoe right after I painted the grille bowtie black to match the truck. Definitely looks better. Let's see those pics! Do you have before and after shots?
