I went to @fiatdale build thread of his old Tahoe and the pictures were gone. I was wanting to see the rear of it where he shaved the wiper and handle.
Any recommendation on a drop Shock for the rear of a lowered Tahoe? It’s currently sitting on a Belltech 2/4 drop (spindles and springs) with the front having the adjustable shocks set at zero and the rear has stock shocks with relocators. I did have the front shocks 1” lower and the belltech...
I did a decent amount of searching to see what guys were running with that wheel size. I didn’t want a super low profile tire since the wife is driving it. I also didn’t want too narrow of a tire so it doesn’t have the wheel lip hanging out as the furthest point. After a lot of trimming they...
You can
try to correct me all you want and push your negativity but gm calls them appliqués. If you don’t like the escalade lights then don’t buy them. It must not be too big of a problem being too bright since it’s a factory part.
No sir I was talking about the piece above the tail. It’s got a hard body line that starts in the light and runs upward into it. Makes sense about the leds and all. I like the smoother clean look of the Escalades and think the oems looks lumpy.
looks like the hybrids have a different shape than the standard tahoes and require the upper appliques to fit right. if not they are still just as ugly as the oem ones. id rather buy some aftermarket led lights over the hybrid ones.
And the most current addition and how it sits currently. I really like the look of the new Tahoe door handles so I added vinyl to copy the look. I used Avery vinyl I got off of eBay and it matches really nice. I’ll post a picture of a new Tahoe door handle for reference. Mine look nowhere as...
Scored some oem esky lights and appliqués off of eBay. The seller was listing the taillights and offered the appliqués free with them. I got all 4 pieces for $282 and to my luck they were already pearl white.
So we sold our bagged golf cart and bought 26s with some of the cash. Did the silver with polished face gm snowflake reps with some 285/35/26 tires. It rubbed like hell but damn it looked good that low. I trimmed and trimmed the front and even shortened the front of the running boards for them...
Tires were bad and we were headed on a long trip so I swapped out the wheels off of my bagged Silverado. Needless to say she wouldn’t let me get them back. The tires were a tad small but I loved how low it was. This was also after I lowered it some more. I put the Belltech adjustable shocks in...
With an addition to the family on 12/7/16 I needed to add a few things to make the wife happy. I lowered it so she could get our son in and out easier. Believe it or not that was her request. I did the Belltech 2/4 drop with spindles and springs. I replaced the balljoints and axles while it was...
Added a small black decal to the steering wheel bow tie to break up the silver and cover up a weird little dent in it. Swapped out the headlights and added an esky third brake light.
