    I do have those connected. I did also try to disconnect after I removed the brake controller to see if that would put everything back to normal, but it didn't.

    Sorry for the typo, I had noticed right when you said that lol. However, the wires I'm focused on are the ones under the dashboard that are meant to connect to the brake controller. For all intensive purposes, I have removed the controller from the equation, but have used the blue and red wires...

    Strange noise on startup

    Mine has been in and out over 8 times for this problem. It's still there right now. This happened to mine AFTER I got the motor replaced. They've replaced the a/c compressor 3 times now and now the condensor and tubes...they said it still has a "slight" noise to it. This isn't okay in my book...

    When I upgraded my 07 to a 10 VCIM I didn't need any adapter, it was just plug and play. Maybe they changed them on the '11s?

    LOL Thanks for the welcome. I'll try not to be, unfortunately I've been having a few issues issues with the truck since I've gotten. Hasn't gotten me down so far though. Had give the TB a good cleaning and had the Service 4wd light pop on and off today for a bit...otherwise, Loving the truck...

    Extend Warranty?

    I just bought an extended warranty with my truck through Penfed. The company they use is Route66 and it seems to be a good plan. 1300.00 for 3yrs/36k. Cover just about everything. Just got the truck and haven't had to use it just yet though luckily.
