How-to: Change the color of your 00-02 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban gauges
Really sad at how the red looks through the gauges. I could barely read the numbers at night pitch black and with the switch all the way up the gear selector is so bright it makes it horrible on the eyes to contrast. Anyone know how to change the bulbs out in the gear selector? -

Anyone have a write up for LEDing your headlight switch/
Thanks guys. I pulled it apart and there is a single light in there that seems to be pretty easy to swap out. I slapped an old LED on the bulb leads that were bare and it lit up and popped no resistor on it :-) I am off tomorrow and will be doing my entire front interior in red. I was... -

Anyone have a write up for LEDing your headlight switch/
Ive searched and its not so great I get nothing and ive googled still get nothing. Just curious if anyone has done that. I have done my canyon and my 96 sierra so I am sure my Yukon 02 model will be fairly point blank and simple. Just like to read things before I go for it. -

My concern for this is the hot glue re melting here in Texas... You think epoxy or something else would work ok. Kind of a hope you get it right the first time shot though. -

Is my MPG average?
I know mine isn't an Xl but I always average no less than 14.4 MPG city/street mix during the week. The few highway trips we have done I got close to 19.5 round trip I was stoked at how much further it was compared to constantly stopping and going. And yes the tips above help a lot. jack and the proper tools. Other than that I would say I hope your close to an allignment shop. I did both at the same time on my 02 and man was that a hairy arse ride to the shop and its was only 2 miles down the road. Just Bought 05 Denali
That switch is after market someone else installed... I would pull the dash and see if its hooked up to anything or not. And if so follow the wires to where. You said its an 03 right. Do you have a mechanical fan or electric fans on it? I have seen some botched electric fan setups come...- Barman84

Steering Wheel Turned SLightly When going STRAIGHT
More than likely it is either your inner or outer tie rod out if it is pulling like that. ususlly the opposite sid eof the direction the vehicle is pulling. Cold Air Intake
I got he one on sale and it works great... I lost mileage though as I like the sound it makes when the foot is to the floor... But after two tanks I calmed down. Before I was averaging 13.73 a gallon and now I am getting 14.217 a gallon. Not a huge differance but with gas going north the way...- Barman84

Sierra overhead console
Has anyone put the longer sierra console in their tahoo, yukon? If so what needs to be trimmed looking at the one in my dads 01 3500 it looks like the filler plate would pop out and the AC controls would fit. But he won't let me rip it out to see if it will work or not.
