Another option…2011 Chevy Tahoe 85k miles - thoughts?

@SFreedom97 I would think that's about right, simply from doing quick math with his example. I think he mentioned 8K hours = ~400K miles. You are 1/8 of that, and 1/8 of 400K would be 50K miles. Super rough, but it makes sense if that helps....

    Diablosport Trinity T-1000

@SNES Avalanche Was just thinking about this and forgot to ask if everything works as it should. Based on the above post of raising your idle, looks like it's functioning well for you. lol

    Diablosport Trinity T-1000

@SNES Avalanche Yes, I still have this. It will not require an unlock. I removed it from my truck as can be seen in the first pic.

Shameless bump before I list this on Ebay and fbook marketplace. Would rather it go to someone here. Cheers.

Howdy folks, Recently sold my 2007 Yukon. Unfortunately this will not work on my Enclave to free up some power. hahaha. That being said, I'm not entirely sure what this fits anymore as I bought this a long time ago. However, I did find a link(the only one out of many I searched) that...

    Expedition vs Yukon

The market is still crazy hot for used vehicles. Just traded in my wife's Lincoln MKC because they offered us 23K for it. It was a 2018 with 60K miles on it and was the lowest trim level at premier. It's nuts. As for the tahoes/yukons, I would never order one from the factory, but that's...

C8 Vetts destroyed - off topic I know but sad

My guess is that it's an insurance claim for them. They either take the money per vehicle damaged and crush them, or they part them out and try to recoup the money. Sucks that they can't do both, but blame that on the insurance company for not allowing the double dip. Again, just a guess....

    STELLAR Fuel Milage

Yeah, I live just north of Tampa. You can safely set the cruise on 82-83mph and drive without worrying about passing a trooper. They do have some local yocals on the interstate here and there and they will nab you at those speeds, but the lion share of five-o on the interstates are troopers...

    New to me 2016 Enclave

Yup, I've officially moved into the "old man" category with this new rig. hahaha. Hard to pass up though since my yukon was at 250K miles and this thing only has 26K on it. That being said, since the 3.6 in this thing has been around so long in the GM arsenal, I have to believe there's...

    Trinity T-1000 Programmer

Yeah, it's unmarried and I took pictures to be able to show someone. Cool, thanks for the quick replies fellas.

    Trinity T-1000 Programmer

I just got rid of my 2007 Yukon after 250K glorious miles. lol. I removed my programmer of course. Are these still being used by others? If so I will post over in the sale threads. So glad I used it all of these years just for the deactivation relief alone. When driving it without, it was...

    Electrical issue, imagine that

Factory dvd/cd player and never messed with. I will take a look at the grounds as I have never cleaned them personally. Bought this thing with 40K on it and now at 227K miles. hahaha. Thanks all for the replies.

    Electrical issue, imagine that

Howdy folks. 2007 Yukon SLT. Having an issue where the radio does not come on when starting the truck. Everything else works just fine, but no radio and of course no turn signal sound. turn signal works fine. It's been hit or miss. Sometimes I start it and the radio is on and everything is...

Which means what exactly? Some kind of ghost issue?

    Stabilitrack and traction control lights

Thank you all for the replies/suggestions. To try to answer some of them: 1. They went into detail about which cylinder but frankly I forgot. 2. I was doing roughly 75mph when this happened on the highway. First thing was a noticeable semi-loss of power and slight shuddering. I honestly...

    Stabilitrack and traction control lights

This was certainly not a matter of it not running. I could barely drive it. When it was dropped off at the garage, it wouldn't run for them at all. So they started their digging and eventually found no compression on 2 cylinders and a third that was super low. He thinks it's the lifters(?)...

    Stabilitrack and traction control lights

Exactly what I'm thinking Bill. I suppose I'll call today and get pricing on my options as regardless I need them to work on it and get it up and running. From there it's a matter of figuring out if I want a car payment again or not. lol Thanks for the input. It's good to see others with...

    Stabilitrack and traction control lights

Thank you sir. Yeah, so first, the 6.2 would not be a swap that I would do. haha. I can fix simple things, but am way out of my league on stuff like that. And yes, you are correct, my truck is actually in great shape for over 200k miles. Even the garage told me that if they were me...

Don't always trust your mechanic, fixed my "blown" engine for $7.

One final question if you don't mind. Forgive my ignorance, but what determined the valve cover upgrade? Was this a recall, TSB, something else? Any idea where they retrieved that info from? Thank you sir.

    Stabilitrack and traction control lights

They did tell me which cylinders but honestly I forget. I was to say 2 and 4 and another had super low compression. The one thing that was odd to me that I forgot to ask about was the fact that when it started acting up on the highway I pulled over and it was idling super rough. When it was...

Don't always trust your mechanic, fixed my "blown" engine for $7.

Sorry for digging up an old thread. Are you telling me that your well out of warranty Yukon had this issue and GM paid for the parts? I'm confused. lol

    Stabilitrack and traction control lights

Howdy folks, long time since I posted on here. 2007 Yukon with 206K on it. Got the stabilitrack and traction control lights pop up and truck started running horrible. Was able to limp it off road and get towed. I scanned it while waiting and I think it was a P300 and P0455 codes that came...

    Service battery charging system

Quick update. checked the mega fuse and it seemed to be fine and unharmed. Also checked the cables routing around the engine bay from the negative battery side. While dirty, they all seemed to be in good shape physically and making good contact. I immediately smelled burning electronics when...

    Service battery charging system

Thanks 89. So, since I am solo with no wife for the next 5 days, I can't really remove this one and get it tested. forgive my ignorance, but is there a way to simply test it with a meter? I'd hate to install and not have it be the issue, but I'd hate even more to "try" to get a few miles down...

    Service battery charging system

Howdy folks, Let me preface this by saying that yes, i did in fact do a search here and on other chevy forums. As always, I get some of the symptoms but not all, so checking here to see if anyone has thoughts. Wife calls from an hour away and says the truck died right when she pulled into...
