2004 Chevy Tahoe - Driver side front tire - sounds like it is grinding when I lift th
Same boat I had similar symptoms. Grinding noise, nothing looks bad. Even though the noise sounded like it came from the driver's side, it turned out to be on the passenger side. Wheel hub bearings shot. I found out by applying breaks in a corner and the wheel nearly fell off. Hope you are OK...- TexasTruck

Grinding Noise from Drivers side front wheel and ABS and Brake Light on Dash
Good Job! I couldn't get to the dealer fast enough when the ABS light came on. My wheel hub was shot but i didn't know it, so my wheel broke off in a turn. Now I have a large bill. That's life; at least there were no injuries.- TexasTruck
