AC only through defrost vents
Well I found the mode door and the gears were not meshing so i had to push the door back into a position that the gears meshed together and now it cycles from one end of its travel to the other like it can't find its calibration point. Any one have any ideas about how to recalibrate. I tried... -

Can anyone give me some insight to this I was hoping to order parts today, car just doe not cool well coming out of the defrost vents, and in Florida can't have the kids running around in a hot car. Thanks Doug -

Had a battery problem(loose positive terminal) this week on my wife's 2002 Yukon XL and she let a couple tennis friends "help" her, I think when they jumped it and put a charger on it some thing got fried because the ac only blows through the defrost vents and the gas gauge was pointing... -

AC through defrost vents only Sorry to revive an old thread but this just started happening to my wife's 02 Yukon XL. Had a battery problem(loose positive terminal) and she let a couple tennis friends mess with it and I think when they jumped it and put a charger on it some thing got fried...
