Brown sludge in engine
No signs of flooding ....best i can tell is the intake gasket went and the previous owner kept dumping coolant :badidea: into it not knowing where it was going and then tried some type of sealent and thats why it was so thick.- Bigbearnj

Brown sludge in engine
Today i bought a Non running 2000 Tahoe from an auction. it doesnt turn over so i checked the oil (before checking if the engine was seized) and found brown thick sludge on the dip stick. so i pulled the plug and started draing the engine.
