Thanks a lot I had no clue what they were called or what they did. Mine are very weathered and eroding from the bottom

Hi I have a 2004 chevy Tahoe lt. Does anyone know what the honeycomb shaped rubber cushions are called in the front part of the suspension? I want to believe it's some sort of body mount. I'm changing my wheel hub assembly and noticed this rubber piece is really old and falling apart.

I'm actually considering this. Sounds very doable and cost effective. I'm wondering if I spray the screen material with something to harden it will that make it easier to clean?

The idea wasn't to cover it completely. Whatever was going to be put there would still give good air flow. The billet grille offers more airflow than the oem. Not sure if youve seen the grille but there is a sizable gap between the bars more so than average. I've viewed it at different angles...
Is this, grill like a factory grill? I'd like to keep it under 50 bucks seeing how it's only visual and not a performance mod.

It couldn't hurt the new grill alone has lowered my engine temperature. The sheet metal with holes will probably put me back where I was with the factory grille

That's along the lines of what I was thinking. Maybe a Tahoe decal on the sheet metal or something. Then it'll give them something to look at!

It does. Which is why I'm searching. I'm going to come up with something creative eventually. That's the best part about customizing your ride having something no one else has.

It looks really good from an angle or a distance, but if you're right in front it's very see through especially with light

I've have this issue as well. I have a 2004 Tahoe. I noticed it after I went through a dip too fast and shook somethings in the truck a bit. Mine is only the heated seats randomly going on and off. I've wrestled with that button many days even tried unhooking it to no avail. It's a pain in the...
That's a possibility. I've been trying to come up with ideas all day. Was wondering if they have something already made or manufacturered for my situation. The best I could come up with was to bolt a sign or a logo there.

150479 says last oil used is valvoline max life 5w30
Just pulled the dipstick and it is low! Way to trouble shoot 95escahoe!!! So is there no low oil warning? Guess I have to pay more attention to this guage. That would explain my gas mileage. What would cause me to burn thru so much oil?

Im going to buy all the supplies and attempt my first oil change. I figure if I can modify the body I should be more in tune under the hood. My oil changes are expensive.
honestly I never pay attention to that guage it usually stays the same. I go by the mileage or the date or the reading on the truck and usually thier im in sync. I dont have a problem changing the oil early but im not due for a change until the end of the month and I have about 700 miles to go...
I dont change my own oil. Thats one of my new years resolutions to do more things on my own. I wouldnt say I idle a lot. Theres about 160k miles on the truck. the place that services my oil has me on high mileage 5w 30 I believe its synthetic. This is my daily driver at least 40 miles to and...
