Or it could be I have a High Country, it at least came with heated seats and steering wheel. I would have prefered an LTZ, but wanted the 3.0 Duramax and this one was on the lot.
Neither do I. Many close calls, two hits. First made it across in front of me then turned around and came back across. Second was a pair came out of revine, I braked from 50 down to 30 and hit the second one.
The 1500 Silverado offered emblems in black. Maybe a dealer parts person could find just the P/N for "DURAMAX" ?
On the Silverado 1500, "DURAMAX" is used on the hood. They are 1" high, and the whole DURAMAX is 6 3/4" long.
I guesstimated in 16-20K miles the extra cost of the diesel engine would be paid for. After that it will be cheaper to operate.
I did not figure in if service/oil changes would skew that.
I was looking at simple cost per mile of the fuel only.
Diesel fuel has come down since I bought my Silverado 11 months ago. I have paid as much as $1.80 more the 87 octane regular, to as little $0.20 more.
I had a 2011 Silverado w/6.2L engine that I always bought premium fuel for, which now costs more than diesel.
The higher fuel price would not...
How much fuel does it hold? Must be more than my Silverado.
My dash says I get mid to high 20s for mpg (short trips), best has been 36.4mpg (from the dash, not calculated)
That was all I could find when I put one ion my 2011 Silverado. The rim is part leather ( a very nice dark brown) and the wood grain part is plastic about 25% of the rim.
Picture is the harness I made for my 2011 Silverado to connect the column side of the clockspring to the under-dash Junction Block, cavity x14. This is for switch power and a ground.
I am not sure if the Tahoe has this Junction Block and an empty x14 spot for a connector.
I put an Escalade heated wheel in my 2011 Silverado. I did not care for the plastic part of the wheel rim. I could not find just black leather. It had a very dark brown leather that looked good in my truck. I do not remember if the lighted controls were a different color. I sold the truck last...
Make sure the 12v connector you choose is only hot with the key on. I picked one that was hot at all times and even with the heated steering wheel turned off it drained the battery overnight. Switched and no more drained battery
I can't figure out how to delete old routes. I've deleted them from my phone, but they still show up on my truck. Places I'll never go to again, such as my daughter's former apartment
