Need advice on 4X4 replacement suspension
yes most of it is original, have replaced the shocks but need new again. The problem is almost everything is is no longer available from GM this vehicle will be 20 years old next year!- KatGV

Need advice on 4X4 replacement suspension
my Tahoe has 345,000 plus miles and needs a lot of new suspension parts front and rear. shocks also etc.. I don't want to lift it, maybe slightly beef it up a little as we do go off road with it. Not much if any parts are available any more from GM But don't know what places to trust as far as...- KatGV

Design failure
60 thou is not a lot of miles for these vehicles my 05 just turned over 300 thou and yes we have replaced most of the major things but it's like a new vehicle again interior is mostly like new still and now the drive train is too. just a thought lol -
Tires that don’t suck
I know this is probably not the answer you were looking for but, I have the stock 16's and I've always gotten BFG's and gotten 60,000+ miles out of these tires. I currently have BFG k2's. They are definitely worth the extra money, I have tried a few different tires over the years and they are... -
Tire psi
I have BFG K02s and when I get my tires rotated Costco always outs the tire pressure at 40 lbs and it rides like on rocks... we immediately put them down to the 36 on the door jamb and it much better ride and I always get at least 60 thousand miles out of the tires. i'm not sure about towing... -

I know you just purchased a NEW battery but the ONLY thing that stopped our YEARLY dead battery issues was to purchase an Optima Redtop battery had one on my older 90's Tahoe and now on my 2005.- KatGV

It's a 2005 4WD 5.3-L V-8 OHV 16V. Idk what the rpms are when it does this, I'll reply back when I find out. Yes, it's in drive and stopped when it does this and if it weren't for the rough idle it wouldn't bother me, no it is not so rough that it seems like it will stall. I know how it runs...- KatGV

What would you do? Dealer negligent on warranty repair, now out of warranty and out $1675
I would go straight to GM Customer Service / Corporate No middle man and get this thing fixed... Good Luck- KatGV

Yes GM does have a customer Loyalty Program we used it on our 05 when the trany went out last year ... I would contact GM corporate find an email online and let them know what happened they will reach out to you I can't guarantee that anything will change but it's worth a shot.- KatGV

Question for the 01-06 people
My 05 4x4 is a daily driver AND the family Az trip vehicle (sometimes monthly if not more often we add another 600 mile trip) it gets driven hard, 208,000 engine was noisey we elected to replace, 245,000 or so trany went, and 270,000 or so the transfer case .... it's always serviced at the...- KatGV

Pressure wash carpet ??
I had a mishap with a large bottle of dawn dish soap, it fell over in the back on the way home from Costco.... I guess they don't make those bottle dispensers leak proof... we had half the bottle on the rear carpet by the time we got home. I got out the hose with a high pressure small hose... -
