    Strange to me. My 08 Tahoe has half a splash guard on that side and the cover is a tad on the dusty side of rust but it is solid to the manifold. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Hit those bolts with kroil or pb blaster for a few days before attempting to pull em. And if you have the room try a couple of light taps directly on the bolt heads. It may help loosen them up. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    It's an exhaust manifold cover. It helps keep the heat lower and away from wiring and hoses in the engine bay. If possible try and get it replaced soon so you're cooking things close to the manifold. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
