Do you know if they would work with my lowered suburban? I have a 2015 suburban that I did the bell tech 2/4 drop on. I put the bell tech street shocks and am not impressed with the ride.
I tossed the factory setup (magride) because the damn things kept leaking.
Yeah, it was easier pulling the motor and replacing all the supporting hardware and gaskets then trying to do it while still in the vehicle. Look at the Volant intake. I added a Magnaflow muffler and am happy with the sound.
Dang, an extra $3k? I am glad I was able to do this install in my...
Make sure they disable the DOD once they install the kit and fire it back up. Just putting the plugs in place isn't enough. The kit from Glenn's Performance is awesome.
That is one of the DOD cylinders I believe. If you're guy is capable, I would suggest doing the DOD delete kit I mentioned in my post. I will say that if you end up adding a set of headers like I did then don't forget new MSD plug wires and heat sleeves.
If you have any questions feel free to...
I just put Hook3r headers (shorty's) on my 2K15 Suburban and the factory plugs hit the header, specifically #5. I just bought some MSD wires and heat sleeves. When your wires melted did you throw any codes?
I went with Hook3r. For some reason when I spell it correctly it turns it into a serious of asterisks. I put the link to everything in my original post. I will post pictures later when I'm back home.
My 2015 Suburban (5.3 L83) has 139,7XX on the clock I just did the DOD delete kit on it. I too heard a crazy loud tapping noise and was receiving a misfire code on cylinder 5. Pulled the valve cover and head and found that I had a lifter that broke up into a few pieces and also scorched the cam...
I just lowered my 2015 Suburban and I am trying to find the PPV front valance to swap for the factory one. That long factory one catches on everything lol.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe
Eddie, this thing is on point man!
Would mind sending me the links to what you bought? I have been looking around and would like to lower my '15 Suburban.
Hey guys/gals.
I am looking to ditch the HIDs I currently have on my '15 LTZ Suburban.
Is it possible to change them to LEDs like newer Chevy's and other vehicles?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated! :waytogo:
