I did. Traded a 16 Yukon for a 17 Tahoe Z71 Midnight. Tahoes have rear LEDs. So you are really only losing AC seats. Gaining 4wd, off road suspension, skid plates, tow hooks, a front bumper that is not lower than a Camry and 1 year newer.
The LED light stip looks like something from a 2004 Kia. The headlights in my 2017 Tahoe are awful too. My 18 BASE model Accord had LED headlights and nice LED running lights. Headlights are really my only complaint in my Tahoe
Came with Duratracs stock but at 8000 miles were too noisy for me. Had Michelin Defender M/S put on. Hated the squishy ride and handling. Tried all pressures no likey. Shop has 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Put the BFGs on and paid the difference and love ride. They work just right with z71...
They are pretty noisy over 50 mph. It also feels like a struggle stopping with them. I will likely just go with a Michelin LTX. I had the Revo2 on my 15 Tahoe in the stock 18" size and they were good not much louder than stock but I also had a 16 Yukon with 20s and put Revo2 on them and they...
I have a 2017 Z71 Midnight. It came with duratracs and the noise is getting old with only 8300 miles. Place out here has a deal on Michelin ltx at2 on 275/65/18s. I'd like to hear input from members who run these stock, If anyone does
No but he has a CTS and Impala and gets down with all the ladies in his 14 Panty Dropper Yukon. Lol. Riding in a 14 compared to a 15,16,17 is like a time warp. Especially the steering, handling and interior layout.
I have taken 700 mile trips in my 15 and 16 with passengers and only thing they say is how quiet they were. We have a fleet of these things at work and a few 2012s and nobody wants to drive the older ones.
I am VERY picky to noise, ride and feel of vehicles. I was also unlucky with Grand Cherokees having differential noises in every one I had back in the day so I'm not lucky! Lol. Here is a breakdown of my 3. 2015 Tahoe LS with single speed TC and 3.08s. Was EARLY Feb 14 build. No issues with...
If you have the 2 speed transfer case (which you do with your Z71) just go into the settings menu and select it. It's not selected from factory. My 16 Yukon SLE 4wd with 2 speed TC had it as well
Yea that was pretty cool. If I bought a Z71 I would have spent 1000 to 1200 on AT tires after I bought it anyway. Love hiw this was optioned. All it had was midnight z71 pkg (2600) and a sunroof. No rear entertainment or captains chairs or any other packages. Kept the price acceptable. Last...
