I actually did run into this when installing the new shocks and my dash lit up with ABS warnings as well as Traction Control warnings. I got under the car again last night and checked all the connections, all connections are good and plugged in. I'm afraid at this point I might be making another...
So I jumped the ALC relay pins 30 to 87 (YouTube link below showing how) and the compressor works and now there is some pressure in the air bladders. Still receiving the intermittent Service Suspension System on the dash.

The Service Suspension System msg only comes on intermittently with no real rhyme or reason for doing so. I have not heard the compressor come on but have been the only one in the truck since replacing the rear shocks and have not had any weight in the vehicle.
I was receiving a "Service Suspension System" message on the dash of my 2008 Yukon Denali for a while, I took it into the dealer who said that I needed to replace the rear shocks and wanted $1200 for it. I decided to replace the shocks myself with the Arnott AS-2708 re-manufactured shocks...
