Really glad I just came across this build! Will def be following along!
I've been running the 1900 mag for over a year now and I believe I just threw a DOD lifter... not sure yet if the cam is toast as well, or the extent of the damage... testing into her on Tuesday... considering dod delete and...
Update:
Checked fuel pressure and quality, good there. Ran the truck while spraying carb cleaner around intake gasket, air duct and vac lines, no spike in R's, so I pulled the Y pipe and ran it briefly with open manifolds... super loud but idle seemed to be fine leaving me to believe the cats...
Bah, thanks, I really appreciate it!
The SS would be a perfect fit on all fronts except it would most likely have to endure at least one if not two salty Michigan winters... plan was to snag one now while my kids are smaller (1 and 3 yrs right now) then have it paid off by the time they've out...
Ugh... P0300 (only... no additional/specific codes like 301/302 etc etc) - Barely runs, idles like I have the biggest cam in the world, sounds absolutely awful (happened Friday morning)....
"This is why we can't have nice things!"
Had to forge on an head out on our planned trip/vacation to...
Geeze, I'm just noticing/realizing its not just the wheel... the entire airbag looks to be custom in that suede....
Regardless... I've searched for a few hours now and have come up empty handed, maybe I can call Callaway and get some leads...?
Side note: in my deep searches I came across...
Yeah I would really like to find and get a hold of one of those steering wheels, looked on cal's site and no luck, everything else pretty much is for sale on there though... ".....but that wheel..." I'm sure I wouldn't mind losing my heated wheel for that sick puppy... even with the insanely...
About 2 months ago (completely forgot about it till I searched through my pictures just now) I spotted a 2013 Callaway Chevy Tahoe for sale in the used vehicle lot of a nearby Dealership (Dearborn, MI). Noticed some pretty awesome things about it... lots of awesome trim (interior and exterior)...
*** Side Note ***
Back in early March I was EXTREMELY close to trading my Yukon in for a new 2017 Chevrolet SS Sedan (they were offering 20% off! - I already had an LSA TVS on standby even!!).
I am A: Glad I did not go through with it and B: Proud to remain a member on this site!
Positive Update Time!!: Will post pics if anyone is interested or curious, it's not exactly super thrilling, but it is an item I can "X" off my dream board lol. I finally got around to purchasing and installing the Magnuson/SCOL HD Tensioner kit! It's been at the top of my "future mods/to do"...
Thanks dood! Always appreciate the compliments!
That thurr is ah 2012 Sutphen (Ohio) Mid mount Tower (same ones you may have heard about a couple 2-3 years ago collapsing for no reason and trapping/injuring FFs in the bucket - one dept had to use the jaws to extricate their guys from the bucket...
First off... THANK YOU!! Seriously, the compliments are killer man, thank you! Secondly, I couldn't agree with you more on the lights/trim... and obviously the paint ("buzz's girlfriend... WOOF!"). I despise slapping money down for stuff like lights, bulbs, trim, rims and decorations lol, but...
No money for mods or the plans i have at the moment.... so... in idle... heres some more stinkin pictures if anyone cares, bah! Feel free to let me know if you guys are getting sick of me just posting pictures every time i wash my damn truck heh!
This past weekend in Detroit we had AutoRama, one...
The little guys fell asleep in the ole Truckster, so while my wife was shopping I did a quick photo shoot with er... a slightly better scenery than the traditional cemetery or firehouse... enjoy?
Right now on my Denali I have yet to do or research a proper cam for the blown 6.2L.... however, I cant believe all too much has changed since the days I had my blown silverado ss (6.0 L @ 12 lbs) which I slid a LPE (lingenfelter) GT2-3 bump stick into... drivability was perfect and it seemed to...
